big hank:
Fifth Gear--No Fear!! Cool find!!
Looks like maybe he can stand on the pop up card like a display base!
Dinobot Nuva:
No, if it was anything like the other Popup G2 cards like the ones that came with the laser-cycles, half the card punches out and you can bend it forward to give a cheap looking 3-D effect.

Railguard:
Eh, looks cool. Not sure what think of it though.
DeathStorm:
Looks cool and it's nice to see something so rare. But, even for collectors, I can't justify $350 for a piece of cardboard. I wish him the best though, hope he gets what he wants.
sparkhunter:
do we have any pics of what the racing rig would have looked like?
Backstop:
lol.....I have the card, but paid nothing near that price. All the extra paper work is cool but $350 with the economy now is a little much. This is the 3rd one I have ever seen surface. for those who do not know Greasepit was for a "AKA" G2 unreleased Go-bots launcher the real name is (Go-bots raceing rig) as it is even stated on card. Very cool one off prototype that is no longer in North America :-(
Fit For natalie:
What happened to the prototype racing rig?
Karl Hartman:
There are at least two of them, I believe, and perhaps three. The completely translucent Gold car that was shown with the original rig at BotCon 1994 has never surfaced, as far as I know, but I believe there are 2 or 3 rigs floating around out there, complete with mock up cards, "Ring of Fire," stunt barrells, and painted and decaled Greasepit Car (just a modified Gearhead). I think that the actual package art has surfaced as well, but don't quote me on that.
It would be interesting to see if there was a complete mock-up package for that bod boy.

wow so you are aware of 2 or 3 sets that are in the hands of fellow collectors? As that is great news. I was told the rig was released in some other toyline, can you confirm this Karl? if I recall if was grey I think,
Karl Hartman:
I've not heard of the Road Rig being released in another line, but it wouldn't surprise me. Other than the transforming driver, it is kind of a non-descript toy that would fit well into a number of concepts.

DoubleClouder:
The racing rig was released in Target's "Kool Toyz" line. It's basically a Christmas toy line they have every year with hotwheels, and other generic toys. Someone on this board has one, but I can't remember who. Been looking for one for a few years, and have yet to see one.
