Stan Bush's "The Touch" Free Download for Guitar Hero World Tour this Thursday 28 May

Stan Bush's "The Touch" will be available as a FREE download on Guitar Hero World Tour Thursday, May 28th. Wether or not this is the original or the Revenge of the Fallen version is currently unknown, though I would assume the new version it is.

Next week's DLC for Guitar Hero World Tour is one free song: "The Touch" by Stan Bush! Based on the YouTube link (which was included in the original post) and the reference in the post to "the 80's animated Transformers movie", it's a safe bet that this is the original version of "The Touch", not the recent redone version for Revenge of the Fallen.

Shoulda used the crappy new version, then players could pretend to be the grinning goon guitarist.

Each DLC should come with a free Holger Fath mask.

World tour only or will it work with GH III?

No one is gonna be excited until we know which version it's gonna be. If it's the ROTF version it's gonna be a total bomb.

So of course, I will be at Botcon, and can't play it until I get home. I figured they were doing to do this.

That almost makes me want to buy Guitar Hero. Not really, one song don't make it better than Rock Band.

oh yes i've been waiting for this to show up on the download area......got to get a new power pack/cable thingy for my wii so i can play (storm fried the mofo, wii is still good so it not too bad)

if it's the original or the 2007 version then i'll be rocking it out. if it's the new one... i'll be sorely disappointed.

i wonder if it will be available on xbox on tuesday...usually xbox gets stuff tuesday and psn gets it on thursday... maybe we won't have to wait that long (not that i have world tour i only have rock band)

Playstation store. It's in the PS3 menus. You need internet access on your PS3 and a playstation store account.

This should be the original version. The new version doesn't have that much guitar in it.

I don't play guitar hero but if I did I would want the original version and not the new one. The new one sucked!!! If anything I still say he should have tried to come up with new material, not that slop.

If a reminder is posted it is obviously supposed to be used as a reminder. Hah, not dubbing itself as brand spankin' "new" news. I was not giving you a backlash. There is just a nicer way of saying "this is waaaay old news".... making the poster feel kinda bad when he was just being nice. Even though some people knew about it waaaaay back when it was posted they can easily forget and need reminded. That is what reminders do.
