Robert O. Smith. May his spark become one with The Matrix.

| Ummm... This will probably come off as rude, no one confuses me for being P.C. anyway, but does this REALLY honor top-page "news"? Obituary posts always irk me, because 99% of the time they are not really newsworthy. It should definitely be a thread in the forums, but NOT front page. Like the Golden Girls gal passing in her 70's. Why is that top page news at google? People 70+ years old die frequently. The fact she was the "in thing" 40 years ago doesn't make her death top-of-the-fold news, over important things that ACTUALLY have merit such as the oil spill, the scuffles in Gaza, etc. Almost as stupid as the full page article about Elton John playing at Rush Limbaugh's wedding. I love listening to Rush, but I don't give a rat's *bleepin'* end about his personal life. *bangs head against wall* [/end rant] |
| Cybertron Soundwave wasn't necessarily my favorite character of the series, though I did get excited after watching his debut episode, and to his credit, Robert Smith gave us something different compared to previous Soundwaves. I thought it was Gary Chalk who did Soundwave, but still, doesn't change the fact that we lost a man who's been a part of the ever-growing Transformers history. Rest in peace, Mr. Smith. |
didnt know he was sick to begin with that sucks soundwave voice is hardest to mimic but he did decent job at it adding soundeffects to his voice wsant didnt help much i think it sound good with the effect added to it in cybertron

.........RIP dude
