Hoodies are pretty much my favorite article of clothing. I'd rock the fuck out of the Grimlock one no probs. Unfortunately I don't have $60 to spend right now.

That said, I'm 6'4" and 250 with a background in wrestling and martial arts, so I don't have a lot of fear about being an ubernerd in public.

Well in that case Chalice, I would argue that you are one of few who could rock one and not get the level of ridicule that would come with wearing one of these things.

That said, I doubt I'd put up Grimlock's 'lower jaw' flap. It looks a bit silly. But I'd definitely do the hood with the teeth and whatnot.

And, in all honesty, Prime's is more useful with it's design. That faceplate will be great in cold weather cities.

I bought Grimlock days ago as soon as 80stees put it up on Facebook. Had to have it for Halloween. Judging by the responses in this thread, most of you are either cheapskates or 150lb weaklings.

I bought the Grimlock one as well, but that's just because I was looking at 80stees for a new hoodie. I'm 5'3" and I will be wearing a 3X because the 1X I felt would be too "regular" sized on me (I hate wearing clothes that fit.) and the 2X sold out as soon as I went to buy it.

I kinda like the Grimlock one, but its normally too hot where I live to ever wear a 2nd layer of anything, so chances are that it'd sit in my closet like 90% of my clothes already do. Plus like others in here are saying, they look pretty cheaply made for what they're asking, so I dunno haah.

I like how the Optimus Prime one has the yellow energy bars on the arms.

The grimlock one reminds me of a sharkticon eating his own robot head.

On the other hand the grimlock is in far more neutral colors than Optimus Prime. So if you want one that looks less like a halloween costume for regular wear grimlock probably is the better choice.

To those of you worried about ridicule for wearing one of these, there are people with their face covered in tattoos, or wearing Jeans so tight you'd think they were strippers. Long as you wash your ass and dont make transforming sounds every two steps, I think youd have nothing to fear wearing these.

I don't care how much of a fanboy you are, you can't make these look cool on an adult.

These should be for smaller kids. And don't get me started on the hoods...

I would have one of it wasn't as bright. Maybe if the colours had been several shades darker. Do me one as a leather biker jacket.
I think it's not so much fear of ridicule but fear of a good kicking. It's okay if you're built like a brick shithouse so nobody would mess with you no matter what you were wearing, but if you're a weedy nerd wandering the streets in this you're going to get your lightest hour darkened by actual hoodies.

I wonder how long it would be before the police arrived if you hung around near a school yard wearing one of these...

I wouldn't mind a blue hoodie with Soundwave's tape deck chest design on the front (like a lot of tees out there), but not one that incorporates his head as part of the hoodie.
