Non-Transformers, but this will excite all of you who have been fans of transforming robots in the 1980s. Via Taghobby / Cybergundam on Facebook, we have a look at a whole line of Gokin (high-end release) versions of several Machine Robos, who many of you may remember from the 1980s as the GoBots! The selection of characters in the line definitely seems to have been inspired by GoBots as well as Machine Robo, the original Japanese version of the series. The lineup shown thus far includes:
- Cy-Kill
- Jet Robo / Fitor
- Drill Robo / Screwhead
- Turbo
- Leader-1
- Tank Robo / Tank
- Shuttle Robo / Spay-C
Plus there are one or two others.
It looks like Bandai & Action Toys is serious about bringing back the Gobots / Machine Robos as a whole line of high-end collector releases, to compete with the Masterpiece Transformers.
Discuss this revelation in the discussion thread linked below, and for more non-Transformers toy news, be sure to visit our sister site, The Toyark!

Picked up Brimstone and Tombstone!
This completes Rock Lords Series 1 for me, but I was really going for all the Evil Rock Lords, and that journey has now ended, minus Series 3 Saberstone and Spearhead- both of which I will never own (including the Jewel Lords) because way too expensive, lol!

It's gonna be a mega doozy.

CG Robo.

I'd have to say the first generation. But, I have to qualify that with vote with the fact that I know essentially nothing of MR beyond what we got in GoBots.
IczerRyuga
That's the name of the game, Prime.
(Always wanted to say that.)
Optimus Prime23
That's it, 600 Series.

Darn, I'd vote 600 but don't want to log into YT.
soundwavempl
Yup. 600 Series all the way.
Optimus Prime23
For me, it's G1, or whatever the Machine Robo/Gobot equivalent is.

A survey by Youtuber STALKER has been made about what's everyone's fave Machine Robo generation: https://www.youtube.com/post/UgkxKMngBs54KKlnFLft5Icmnk50ibldTY58

Finally picked up a nice condition Crasher with good stickers and gave her a good cleaning.
On another note, how the heck do you transform ScrewHead without chipping the red paint on the outer chest? I touched up the paint but every time I transform him it chips.

Speaking of things that are still in effect and can be purchased easily, the folks at Bandai-Mania has this little video about the Melon Sword and Police Onigiri Robo plus a cold open. And more crazy combinations to be found.
Predakwon
No, really diving into the Revenge of Chronos/Battle Hackers characters is such a slippery slope, not to mention super expensive.
My collection will just be Gobots cartoon characters
Few exceptions like Devil Satan/Saturn Six

One of the bucket list items is to visit the Iowa. I've already walked on the Missouri in Pearl Harbor. That ship was beautiful.

The Iowa-class battleship is probably about the coolest thing associated with our state, even if we didn't really have any influence on it.
