4 minicon modes
Vehicle Weapon
Robot
Robot Weapon
Power-Up Armor
sounds funny!
darksage78:
Is the top right corner of the first image his name? Chopster?
Edgewise:
Nevermind... misread that

Chopster is the minicon's name
Zherbus:
The mini-con's name is CHOPSTER?
The actual toy looks cool as hell. I wonder who the Decepticon firetruck is. I see Commander down there.

4 Minicon Weapons and a main bot... this sounds like the $20 combiner 5-pack pricepoint listing.

Four modes not four weapons.

It looks like there's a 'with' in front of the name, so it might be the name of the Mini-Con.
Looks great though.

U.Magnus80:
Looks pretty cool. Anxious to see more.
Recall:
Yay for mini-con goodness. I know its just two pictures but its really making me want this powercore line to hurray up and get released
JazzSanti86:
looks cool, really looking forward to this line
Chris McFeely:
Holy sweet Jesus yes give me it NOW.
TinManA.H.:
Power-up Armor? Probably snaps on his chest like the old Japanese Breastformers! Plus a gun, an axe, and hopefully a decent robot mode! If the minicons are translucent like on the image of Huffer we saw then this line is going to be incredibly awesome!
Soulmaster:
I read corpster as the name :s it sounds deadly, lol
nice... the robot has chicken legs! xD it's so... "movieverse meets classicsverse"

can't wait to see more
Fort Max:
Nice looking main figure and a minicon with four uses? Count em in.
Cheers for teh news S250, it's been reaaaal slow today so much appreciated.
Ratchet2007:
I like. A lot !
Sepultron:
A Decepticon emergency vehicle. Cool. Maybe he's partners-in-crime with Barricade.
prawisucia:
this is pretty interesting.
Talon84:
So what this is basically Energon Weapon + Minicon + Energon star. So they took nearly all the gimmicks used in Energon. Cool.
Fort Max:
Yeah, this is a line wide gimmick done right, teh good part of armada (minicon partners) without teh bad (compromised main figures) plus like you said some elements of energon thrown in for good measure.
I like what I see so far., could be a very cool line if this and huffer are any indication.
mainframe:
a decepticon fire truck this should be interesting
Transbot90210:
Cool line up so far. But I guess this means that WFC will not be related to the next show and that we won't be getting a mainline of WFC figures.
Oh well I just hope the new series is equal to or top Animated in terms of fun and story.
Thanx
Transbot90210
Laser_Optimus:
Interesting... I have no idea who the Decepticon is, but his minicon partner seems cool. Shame Hasbro seems hell-bent on going back to these gimmicks though. A real shame. The line looks interesting, but depending on how badly the integration of the minicons hampers the overall figure I may be passing on these.
benclark1982:
The more info we get on this new line of TF's the more i am so interested in seeing what they truly are and what they are capable of. Come on Hasbro start sending out official information already.
shroobmaster:
Lookin' good this PowerCore line huh?
Love translucent weapons
Necrophon:
This looks pretty cool. From the image of the vehicle mode it appears that they will be going for a somewhat realistic alt mode. Plus the return of Mini-cons! I'm looking forward to these.
process:
The giddiness I feel about the words "power-up armor" and "commander" on the box are offset by the feeling that it's just a clip on breastplate and the flip-up peg in the red guy's chest.
enkidoamark:
So, we still don't know what line this is huh? Packaging doesn't look close enough to ROTF for it to be movie-verse. The character (red decepticon fire-rescue truck) isn't familiar enough for me to think classics 3.0. I'm starting to think this is the new show line.

The whole Armada/Energon lines were supposedly very successful for Hasbro, so it seems they are hoping lightning strikes twice. Also everyone loves them some mini-cons
Robogeek28:
Not too shabby, I just wish we could see the bio as well.
Gligamesh51:
Wow, that's exciting to look at, Definite buy!

Oh, I hear you. But let's face it... some of the choices for integration made for some rather poor figures. I just prefer it when the line isn't hampered by gimmicks or that the gimmicks lend themselves well to the line or figures. Again, in the end for myself it's really going to depend on the individual figure probably and the level of integration and how that integration helps/hampers the individual robot.
cryotek:
So its say's that Mini-cons can attach to any commander figure. Is this whats the new figure size called?
Switchblade:
Looks interesting. I like the multifunctionality of the partner. It's neat to see Hasbro trying to put so much play value in these new Minicons. I'll probably pass on this - not digging the continued use of the Movie aesthetic - but I really like the idea behind these.
BraveMax:
Hm... Unknown Decepticon who turns into a Brush Truck. Brush truck, for those unfamiliar:
Looking at the blurb (conveniently obscured by a light flash), we get:
"Mini-Cons ... drone vehicles (... separate ... attach to ... up any ... command ... ure!"
I'm gonna guess: "Mini-Cons ... drone vehicles ... separately ... attach to power up any commander figure!"
So I'm guessing "Commander" is a new name for a specific size class? Or for a specific gimmick sub-class?
SectorStar:
As cool as this sounds, I can see the armor being something that never stays on or falls off everytime you breathe on the figure.
shroobmaster:
I don't see the problem with a gimmick like this.
Nobody complained about Universe Cyclonus, and this is almost the same thing except the mini robot is even better.
Elvin Pena:
Love the bot mode. Very impressive!
RailSpike:
Can't they think of something new rehashing mini-cons yuck me Grimlock want something new Armada I feel sick.
kylash327:
alot more movie looking than the previous one..
starscream 2005:
i hate mini cons, pretenders and small robots that turn into weapons. that is right around the time i stopped watching as a kid. give me the g1 robots and i am happy.

... i mit add soundwaves minions are not the same as mini cons. i do like them, rav,buzz,lazer......and where is leader class starscream?
aprim:
It says commander on the bottom.
General Magnus:
Looks neat. Interesting.
Rattrap Primal:
isn't this what we thought the Mini-Cons would do back in the speculation for Armada (particulary after the bogus report of what Sparkplug transformed into). I would love to see what Prime, Megatron, Starscream, Ratchet, Ironhide, Skywarp, Thundercracker look like in this line
catz:
why the chicken leg, hasbro? Does every Decepticon will have chicken/insect leg from now on?
DeathStorm:
Man! I can't wait to not buy these.
giga-galvatron:
Cool. New Transformers. But... WTF a Decepticon that turns into a rescue bush truck? I get the gimmick that he's a woodsman with a axe but... whatever Im buy it anyway. Cant wait for this line.
vincheng2k5:
Wow, Mini-Cons again? I am cautiously optimistic. Armada and Energon toys looked like crap and had bad articulation because all the focus was on gimmicks. Hopefully this time Hasbro will give us their kiddy gimmicks without sacrificing the play value of the main figure itself.
