Also Seawing is an Autobot in the book, but has a Decepticon symbol.
Airarachnid is listed as a Predacon, but her bio calls her a Decepticon.
The Abominus combiner is a Decepticon, despite being based on Beast Hunters Abominus.
Sideswipe's bio mentions how he is good with swords, despite having none. Probably a reference to ROTF Sideswipe.
Autovolt 127
I can sort of understand why most of them are listed as Predacons since Inferno, Scorponok, Insecticon and Dirge were Predacons in BW (or well their namesakes were). Airachnid is probably due to her being heavily spider based but as for Acidwing I don't see why he would be one?
Scaleface
Picked up this book at Meijer. Surprised by all the weird stuff. Inferno, Dirge, Scorponok, Airachnid, Acidwing and Insecticon are all listed as Predacons, for instance…?

That 148 was prior to the 2nd wave of customs, and now all the AoE toys, there are 214 at least by my count
REMINATOR
Wow, didn't realize there are so many of these guys. So 148 Kro-Os were made, 94 G1, and still they haven't done my Kre-O UMagnus? Don't these little Kre-os want someone to transport them from place to place, lol

Just posted my review on Amazon.com
When I pre-ordered this item, as a Kreon collector I admit it was mostly for the Orion Pax figure, which is wonderful. But the book itself is hardly complete featuring most of the releases from 2011-2013. I was hoping based on the release date that this would include everything up to and including the Kreon toys for the upcoming 4th Transformers film (Age of Extinction). But no such luck. I guess they will save that for a possible 2nd volume in a couple of years (2016?) If the line survives that long. But the book promises "you'll find your favorite characters, and discover new ones". Unfortunately this was not the case. There was nothing in this book I hadn't already known about. In fact some characters that were missing were -The Yellow & Orange variants of Devastator. While Vehicons and Autobot Troopers are covered, there is only a picture of one of them (should have been 3 unique figures each). -Convention exclusives such as Optimus Prime w/Matrix, Energon Bumblebee, & the Machine Wars 5 pack are not covered. Also in considering the development of a book takes time, perhaps the toys for AoE had not gotten passed the R&D stage when this book was being written, but I would think that the author would at least have access from Hasbro to photo material for the Kreons from Micro-Combiners series 4, Customs series 2, and the 3rd wave of Micro-Combiners (while most of these did not hit retail shelves until 2014, some online sellers were offering them in 2013, so I would think they would be considered 2013 releases…). Despite the lack of completeness however, what it does cover is pretty thorough, and is nice to have along side my Kreon collection. I would not discourage hard-core Kreon collectors from purchasing it, but just waned to provide realistic expectations of what you'll get when you do.

I just take into account that 148 includes the mini figures which make up the parts if the Micro-Combiners, after all, they are what got me started on this crazy quest to begin with. Today is payday, so hopefully my own collection count will be going up soon
I wouldn't if I were you. Wal-Mart stopped carrying Kreo's some time ago. The only places around me that have them currently are TRU & Target. Walgreens has the small Blind-Bags, but of course none of the BIG sets. Oh and Supposeddly Kohl's is getting some for the Holiday season (I keep seeing it on their computer ads, but not in the stores)
LegendAntihero
I expect to see this at my local Walmart like I have with some of the Legos book they have. It'd be cool if this comes packaged with a mini fig
Aokijinator
Thanks Triklops.
Ah, 148 only mini figures but if you want also combiner figures, we must add 9.
148+9=157
triKlops
Nice work on the numbers guys; I always like to see a comprehensive list!
O.Supreme
Thanks guys. Man… I might have to get the command center now knowing that all 5 are "New" (or variants). I've been trying to pick up the others from large sets individually. 148 it is then…
Jalaguy
Actually, yeah, now I think about it, Command Centre Bumblebee has a hand instead of a blaster and Wheeljack wings instead of door wings, so I suppose it does count as separate from the original Prime 'Bee.
In which case, yeah, the total is 148.

I asked somebody about it, see here:

Prime Bumblebee is the same as the one in previous sets
I believe the Prime Knockout with the Autobot Command Center is the same one as previously available with Street Showdown set, so I count 146, (command center with 3 new figures and 2 previously available ones) but if someone can confirm that BOTH Knockouts are different, please let me know. Thank You.
Aokijinator
….and Bumblebee my dear friend.
The minifigures are 5.
Jalaguy
I made that post a few weeks ago, before the newest Combiner wave was announced. And I now realise there's actually nine new Kreons in 2013 sets:
– Beast Hunters Optimus Prime
– Beast Hunters Bumblebee
– Ripclaw
– Trailcutter
– Windcharger
And from the Autobot Command Centre:
– Prime Ratchet
– Prime Arcee
– Prime Shockwave
– New version of Prime Knock Out
So my current count is 147.
