New Transformer toys have graced the shelves of Michigan today. Thanks to Kaijumaster for sharing with us thatwave 1 of the new Kreon Micro-Changer Combiners have now his US retail. Found at his local Meijers, this wave consists of adorable versions of Devastator, Bruticus, Predaking and Superion. Happy hunting and happy building!

A US sighting for you now - another of the Kre-O Beast Hunters sets has arrived at US retail. The Ripclaw Strike set is popping up now at stores including in a Toys R Us in Michigan (where this picture was taken). This set includes human Kreon Daniel Witwicky alongside the Kre-O Ripclaw and her Kreon counterpart.

The new Transformers releases keep coming as Transformers Prime Beast Hunters continues to put new products on US store shelves. Sighted today is the Kre-O Beast Hunters Beast Blade Optimus Prime set, which also features a Kre-O Lazerback and Kreon Energon Kicker! This set was found at a Meijer in Jackson Michigan.

A profile page for Eric Rogers at the AOD 2013 site has listed a rather interesting title that Rogers is credited with writing; Transformers The Battle For Kreotron!

Eric Rogers is a television and film writer whose produced credits include Futurama, Tranformers: The Battle For Kreotron, Teen Titans Go!, Kick Buttowski: Suburban Daredevil and NYPD Blue. He also writes for Matt Groening's Bongo Comics Group, having scripted over 30 published stories for Futurama Comics, The Simpsons Comics, and Bart Simpson Comics. He is a 2011 Writers Guild of America nominee for Outstanding Animation Script for his work on Futurama, he once appeared on Rock & Roll Jeopardy, and his first paying job was playing the role of "Friedrich" in a dinner theater production of "The Sound Of Music". Yes, that is all true.

TV special? Video game? What is Kreotron?....

The official Transformers Facebook page is kicking off 2013 with a month of product photos building anticipation for this year's new installment of the Transformers Prime mythos, Beast Hunters. Today's installment is the first look at the official product photography for the Kre-O Beast Hunters Beast Blade Optimus Prime set, which comes with an Optimus Prime who can be assembled in robot or truck mode, Lazerback, and Kreons of Optimus Prime and the human Energon Kicker - a homage to the Transformers Energon character, Kicker.

We'll pass on word of further exciting new product reveals from the official Transformers Facebook page, so keep it TFW for all the latest news.

Good news for those that prefer building their Transformer toys. The first wave of Kreon Microchangers has been found at a Walgreens in San Antonio, Texas by 2005 board member JgarOptimus. This wave includes: Singe (Turbomaster Scorch), Inferno, Autobot Springer, Warpath, Quickslinger (Slingshot), Rampage,
Insecticon, Blast Off, Decepticon Hook, Dirge, Airachnid and Decepticon Bludgeon.

But, you may be asking yourself, "how will I find the Kreons that I want in this wave of blind bagged figures?" Don't worry, we're not gonna leave you in the lurch here on TFW. Check out our previous report with the identification guide

We can now share with you some in-hand pictures of the fourth of the four Kre-O Micro Changers Combiners, Predaking, by way of Fatguy's blog. Predaking makes his first combiner return since Generation 1 with this set, and the four Kreons in the set - Razorclaw, Divebomb, Torox (Headstrong) and Headlock (Tanturm) are all nicely done to recreate the original characters as minifigures. The fifth member of the team, Rampage, is getting a single release, and you can see a fan combination in these pictures which gives Predaking a bit more of a Generation 1 look using some of Rampage's parts.

Walmart Canada have updated their site with the first two entries for the Kre-O Beast Hunters assortment - the Ripclaw Strike set and the Beast Blade Optimus Prime set. What is of interest is that the listings indicate the Kreons that come with these sets will have actual names (unlike earlier sets, where the Kreons were just "Stunt Driver" and so on). The names of the Kreons are Daniel Witwicky who comes with Ripclaw, and Energon Kicker who comes with Beast Blade Optimus Prime.

Don't get your hopes up too much though - previous pictures (one shown at left) and the box photo shows that Daniel Witwicky is just a generic military officer Kreon. Energon Kicker though is the real deal - a full on Kreon of Kicker from Transformers Energon, which bodes well for future of human Kreons.

oscarfung of HK-TF strikes again, this time with an in-hand look at the Kre-O Micro Changers Combiners Bruticus set! Bruticus includes four Kreons and parts to form the combiner - the four Kreons being Onslaught, Swindle, Vortex and Brawl. The set looks like a lot of fun with there being parts to build Onslaught a trailer to carry one of the other Combati-kreons.

These pictures also show off how you can indeed combine Blast Off (who is being sold separately in a blind-bag in Wave 1 of the Micro Changers) with the other four Kreons to form a more Generation 1 feeling Bruticus using all five Combaticons! It's a fan mode, but this demonstrates that yes, it is very possible!

oscarfung of HK-TF has shared some very cool first looks with the fandom - our first proper in-hand look at the Kre-O Micro Changers Combiners Devastator and Superion. Each set comes with four Kreons who can transform between robot and alternate forms by rearranging their parts, or can be disassembled to form the larger combiner robot.

Of note in these pictures we also have a nice look at the four Kreons in the sets alongside the fifth member of the group, who is available separately in the Micro Changers blind-bag assortment Wave 1. The fifth member cannot combine with the other four by default, but where there's a creative fan, there's sure to be a way.

The Kre-O channel on Youtube has updated with the second part of the two-part Transformers Kre-O Quest for Energon series. In part 1 the Kre-O Decepticons stole the Energon - and now in part 2 Megatron's morally ambiguous plan for the Energon has been revealed! Check it out below:

Here is a bit of potentially good news for Europe-based Transformers fans - we just might be getting the preview wave of Transformers Kre-O Microchangers over here. 2005 Boards member Optimist Prime picked up some Microchangers belonging to the preview wave from Ebay recently and they came in multilingual packaging, similar to how their carded brethren are released in the UK and Europe. It is by no means a done deal yet - but the appearance of this assortment in multilingual packaging strongly suggests these will see the light of day somewhere in Europe.

The question of course is where? The fun part will be finding out the answer!

For those following our feed you'll see we just reported that the second assortment of Kre-O Microchangers (confusingly officially known as wave 1) has just been released in Singapore. These are blind-bagged so you'll need a bit of luck getting them all. Or you can use this handy identification guide provided to us by Griffin-of-oz and 0JazzMeister0.

On the back of each blind-bagged Kreon there is a red bar at the top of the packaging (12 to collect in the top-left, "2 in 1" graphic at top-right). Printed in the top right, between the peg-hole and "2 in 1" graphic is a number. That number matches up to the Kreon in the bag - check out the list below to see which one is which:

Good news, everyone! We have reports that the highly-anticipated Kre-O Micro Changers Wave 1 is out in Singapore. The official wave 1 includes Generation 1 characters like Quickslinger (Slingshot), Inferno and Hook, alongside other characters like Airachnid and Singe (Generation 2 Scorch!) This assortment is not to be confused with the "preview wave" currently out in the US which includes Galvatron and Waspinator.

With the assortment out in Singapore, hopefully they'll make it to the US in time for Christmas or if not, to give us all something to look forward to in 2013.
