It's not Lego. It's just Lego-like. (And Lego compatible apparently?)
Jarodimus
They could be repacks of Built to Rule toys and I'd probably still buy them to get the included G1 mini-figs.
Autovolt 127
Kre-O and Rescue Bots sound weird but i guess they want to appeal to a much more wider audience. I mean we got RPM and Speed Force or Stealth Force as Hot Wheels like stuff.

They're no different to the Iron Man/Halo Megabloks and the like.

Pass on those...TFs never seem to work very well in lego type format...and lego-compatable stuff is usually dire

Its like would you rather have an iPod or a generic mp3 player?

The Danish company LEGO didn't actually invent the "Brick" in the first place, it was a British toy inventor named Hilary Page under his company Kiddicraft.

I'm very confused by this. How does the day of release affect your enthusiasm for the toys?

KRE-O can not be photographed
That video from yesterday begs to differ.

If KREO is anything like built to rule was, hasbro going to be making a mistake. They should have learned their lesson with BTR. Other than that, everything else is promising.

Simply looking at the KREO, they are leaps and bounds ahead of BTR. Not Lego Qualiy, but a HELL of a lot better.
Deadend
I gotta say, these are looking mighty tempting. I wonder what they'll cost. If they are the typical lego costs, I'll skip, but if they are decently priced to megoblocks or similiar, I might bite.

I love those little lego men tfs too. Those are just pure win. Heck, they should package a bunch of those together as extra sets for cheaper. =D I'd love to have a full ark cast like that, but hey, while they're at it, throw in a full on buildable ark to put em in too!
Methusalen
Prime & Bumblebee will be purchased... Starscream looks mighty 'iffy', though his mini-fig is cool!
Crumplezone
Prime's head looks exactly like the classics Prime's
Ravenxl7
These are actually looking pretty cool. There is some movie influence, but ultimately not a whole lot. Prime looks like he's got the Voyager Classics mold's head, lol. Depending on the price, I think I might get the Prime set.
mechunter
I'm kind of surprised that they're going with the g1 heads (although at least bumblebee's body/car is is more movie/prime accurate).
sportswolf3
I will own these!!!! the Prime is epic!
blackout501st
holy god this is a childhood dream come true! i have tried so many times as a kind to make a lego transformer. and here hasbro comes, done the job for me! and they dont look shitty like the mega blocks armada ones. and the fact they come with g1 mini figs? SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD!!!!
Takao
BTR - Build To Rule: The Return
Shin Densetsu
These actually look really good! Bravo Hasbro, MUCH better than BTR!
supervir2
If they transformed, I'd bite, but having to take them apart and rebuild is a meh. They look cool though.
cosmos360
Why is Starscream G1 and Prime and Bumblebee movieverse?
IXRolloutIX
Meh. Legos are far better quality. I make Lego Transformers myself and put them on YouTube. They're smaller scale than than these but actually Transform without parts-forming. I doubt these (especially Starscream and Bumblebee) can do that. I wouldn't be surprised if Prime couldn't either. Reguardless, I MIGHT get Prime and review him, seeing as it would fit the theme of my channel - making Lego Transformers and all. Who knows. I wonder how they're priced?...
Acid Wing
Not bad, Prime and Bee look solid. BB kinda resembles his IDW comic look.
2punish&enslave
More crap.
Rayzilla Prime
Starscream looks kinda "meh", but holy crap, Bumblebee and Optimus look fantastic. These blow the ones made from the Armada characters outta the water, which really isn't saying much.
JetsAndHeels
Starscream will be bought on site.

That is all.
Sam Witwicky
I've been waiting forever for Hasbro to come out with a line like this though I'll probably just get Bumblebee and Optimus. Now on Optimus is it just the trailer that transforms or does the truck transform into Optimus as well. I would hope he does. My bad I didn't notice the Optimus pic lol.
SideswipePrime
bumblebee looks he, but optimus looks cool, if only they let lego make them...in my opinion, nothing can compaare to lego...mega blocks suck but the minifigs look cool, and unlike lego minifigs they have ball joints, interesting
wolfe
These look pretty cool. More mini figs would be great as well. I do wish they could transform but i imagine that would double or triple the price.
Buster_Witwicky
Is that a mouth on Bumblebee?
artiepants
Prime is actually surprisingly pretty great, looks like a solid interpretation.

Bumblebee's decent-ish, kind of a funny G1/Prime/Movie hybrid.

Starscream's freakin horrible. The heck? Funny that he looks as much like Armada Starscream crossed with Prime Starscream as anything.

^ wow So if you think Hasbro makes cheap crap then why are you posting on a board devoted to one its cheap brand names? ...whatevs

Fact: KO does not mean what you think it does and maybe you should give a product a chance before you make silly and cheap judgments. It's one thing if you just don't like something for it's own merits or lack there of but to just start slamming something just because it's not made by a particular company is complete and utter ignorance. Lego was not the first company to make this type of building block toy and they certainly won't be the last.
ComicGuy89
Hmm, usually I am very much against Lego-style bricks made by other companies, but the designs here do look very good. I am particularly interested in the minifigures, they look very Lego-like and are pretty nice.
moreprimeland
After looking at the pix of Kre-o Prime..all I could think was "Let go of my Kre-o!!"

Kre-o Prime looks almost as good as many of the molds we've had of him in the last couple of years..in vehicle mode too!!

I could see investing in a couple of the kits..Prime and Prowl for sure
Squallte
Dude!!! Loving the mini-figs. I will buy them all and extras for re-paint and part swaping! I just hope we get play sets for them like the ark and decepticon base. Hell, why not give us Metroplex, Fort Max, Trypticon, and Scorponok in base modes for them to walk around on. This is the cool SD stuff that I love like MyClones, Mighty Muggs, and Robot Heroes!

The other sets.......... maybe. I have to see price points first.
Screamingjet
Dear lord- Did we not see enough of this Bulls#!t with built to rule? (shakes head)
Rotorstorm
Those look pretty cool actually, digging Ongoing Bumblebee might have to pick these sets up. Besides Starscream they look better than the built to rule Armada models.
caitlindevi
Big figures suck

Minifigs ok kinda funky, nice touch with the ball joints, but parts look bad. Why didn't they just licence with Lego?

THe Lego Brand name has a LOT of weight and they could have had Lego Transformers the video game too..badly thought out wanting to maintain too much control rather than reaping in huge licence fees while sitting back and letting someone else do all the hard work...come on hasbro think it through.

Its like do you prefer Coke to Walmart own brand Cola?
They're both cola.
No given the choice you'd buy Coke. why? it might be more expensive, but its a brand you know what you're getting and it does taste better.

Same principles apply. Lego wasn't the first to make building blocks, but they're the best at what they do and they do it damn well.

Same reason We've all been buying Transformers for nearly 30 years and not some generic 'Change-o-bots' toys
Leoscream
Kre-O Starscream is so cute ! <3
Dolza_Khyron
i will have to buy all the primes with trailers this year,
NormanB
They actually seem pretty cool. Price points seem a bit high for my tastes, to tell the truth.
EvaUnit-01
I'm so confused, who is this line supposed to appeal to? I know its obviously gonna attract the smaller age bracket but are these toys supposed to be for the movie line or some kind of generic "Transformers" line, these toys kinda look like that Hasbro Blast from the Past webisode thing (With Bumblebee using guitar on Cyclonus) because these (exception of the out of place G1 Starscream) are just movie styled lego bodies with G1-ish style heads and personally I don't think they really mesh well and I could almost imagine some kids picking up Bumblebee's KRE-O and saying "Well that's not Bumblebee that's in the movies, his heads all funny looking, and what the hell is that little cutesy thing? Is that supposed to be Bumblebee? That one doesn't even look like the model". Personally as big a G1 fan as I am (an happy to see Classics/Generations/Reveal Shield) and as much as I hated the fact that Universe and Animated were put on the back burner for ROTF-I can know understand that yeah this G1 stuff just doesn't sell like the movieverse stuff and probably never will because this isn't 1984 and a beetle isn't the car that kids think of when they see Bumblebee. But this kind of G1 fanwankery just puzzles me for such a kiddy line of 2nd generation "Built To Rule"s. That said I do adore the mini figures (and I want a Megatron and a Soundwave too!) and wish that Hasbro would just make a line of these, like Marvel's "Minimates" line. Oh man! Could you imagine it! It would be like Robot Heros, but with articulation, I bet those would sell like wildfire at a Bot Con, someone really needs to make those.
Sideswipe1954
I see a lot of people buying them solely for the G1 Mini Figures
Saberfrost01
Looks to me more like Mega Blocks than Lego. In other words I'll try and build it from lego using online intructions first if that fails, I might be inclined to buying for the peices.

EDIT: I just realised somthing odd. thes may be extreme partsformers. especially starscream
OptimusTron97
I'll admit I kind of like the big ones, but the little guys look like so much fun!
