Yes friends, more Kre-O release news! The latest set of 12 blind-bagged Micro-Changer Kreons has been released in Singapore – which probably means a US release should not be too far away all being well. 2005 Boards member Gunshot shared this image of the new sets with us, which feature green bordered packaging (in contrast to the red bordered wave 1 and the blue bordered wave 2). He also passed along to us this helpful guide to the codes on the baggies to help you identify the Kreon inside:
50 – Nosecone
51 – Thrust
52 – Nemesis Prime
53 – Ramjet
54 – Huffer
55 – Kickback
56 – Long Haul
57 – Guzzle
58 – Sharkticon
59 – Cheetor
60 – Beachcomber
61 – Seawing

The combiners have made me catch Kreon fever along with my son . Any idea if/when a Combiners series 3 and BB Series 4 will be out? I'm not getting them all, just the combiners & their BB partners, but it is still fun. I know at the Hasbro investors meeting last week that Kre-o/Kreons were in the works for AOE, I just hope they keep releasing the standard ones as well.

I found these 2 Beachcombers in the same case at a Target a few weeks ago. One has an "R" and one doesn't. Haven't opened either one yet to see if they're different at all.

Hey guys, I noticed something different with the codes, but found no info on it. I found the packs at a walgreens and some of the packs had a "R" about 3 or 4 spaces after the numbers. Does this mean anything? I was broke so I didn't pick it up out of curiosity. I know for sure it was on a Nemesis Prime pack.

@Kaseycuyler Great shots of the collection!

I'd LOVE if it continued on forever but my wallet will kill me if it does
If you click the picture you can take a closer look at my collection!

Picked up the whole set at the local Target yesterday. I think I'm addicted. These things have got to be the cheapest to make… is it too much to hope the waves will just continue until every Transformer ever has a Kreon? ream:

Blind Bags aren't stupid they are great for marketing just like trying to get a full set of stuff out of a vending machine. The stupid part, and thankfully for us, is the fact that they have codes that can Identify them.

You don't even really have to memorize/store the codes (at least this wave). They go from "50" to "61", and you can just look at the back of the bag, as they match up perfectly. (lowest number is Nosecone, and so on)

Blindbags are the stupidest idea ever. Thankfully we have these codes decoded so we know what we are buying.

Saw these today in the Lapeer Rd. store in MI. Not sure if this is the 1st in the US, but I doubt it?

I agree. I only buy the combiners, since they're just awesome in general, but I don't really find appeal in the regular micro changers.

For those of you who have these, can we get some pics of them out of package?

Kreo combiners = awesome
Paradigm-Shift Prime
The kre-o combiners really are neat. Don't do Kre-o, but can't avoid getting those guys

blind bags at check-out
At Toys R Us, I've seen the blind bags up at the registers instead of with the rest of the Kre-O toys. Keep an eye out.

I'm getting sick and tired of the random code re-uses by Hasbro, bad enough we've got huge gaps between the Preview Wave and Series 1 where numbers were never used, but now we've got two uses of 50 and 51, Series 2 has numbers higher than Series 3 for whatever reason and some of those numbers double up on Joes, Star Trek's Preview wave gave us another 7, 8, 9 & 10 and the KRE-O CityVille Invasion Blind Bags are mixed between the low 20's and the high 70s a third re-use from TFs and Joes.
Yeah maybe I'm a bit anal retentative or something, probably related to OCD, but I kind of like all unique codes for all Kreons meaning that you'd have number's 00 to 86 (The last number used by Joe Series 1. Just you wait, when Joe Series 2 comes out their bag codes will be the low missing numbers from 25-39 or something.
Maybe a really nitpicky thing to get cheesed off at, I'll freely admit that, it can't be helped. I'm a sucker for numbered sequences and the like.

I'd still like to find some more of wave 1. I found one and it just HAPPENED to be Slingshot (or Quickslinger, if you're so inclined) but I can now only find the preview wave and wave 2, which is kind of annoying.
Just because I'm insanely picky (and probably obsessed), can anyone please tell me what the five preceding numbers are for wave 3? You know, the numbers preceding the 2-digit identifier code.

Haha.. wrong person then.
Was there at 1-2pm and there was only one box out. The guy I saw was also taking pics of the items on the shelf. So I assumed it was you. Heh.
Gunshot
Really ?? I didn't see anyone else around. TRU was pretty deserted at the time I was there – around 7.30pm, and I had a whole box to choose from myself. Guess you must have bought them even before me ! lol
and2ng
Ohh…. so you are the guy I saw at the TRU yesterday, Gunshot.
I also bought the 3 Microchagers Combiners and the rest of the blind packs after you went through it.
It's luck that there was another complete set of 12 Kre-Ons remaining and I took the entire box home.
