Wow--news coming from Craigslist, pretty sure that's a new one! Nice find, I'm liking the packaging...I'll reserve judgement of Megatron until we see a better picture; that one's a bit unflattering.

the words "this toy" they have no attachment to TFs such as us...this is just a boxxed item they got somehow.

They KNOW this isnt soppossed to be out now...hence "advance release"...no such thing

they capitolize Hasbro, but misspelled it once. tells me they know how to write emails to Hasbro, but mabye they arent too high on the food chain because of a misspelling error.If I misspelled my companys name in an email, I would sit in front of the big boss about it. tells me they interact with them, but mabye arent a bigshot

This person works for Hasbro, either as a Rep, or somehow in the distribution chain

Megs actually looks pretty cool. Not sure if I'll get him, but he'll definitely be hard to resist. Especially with the Megatron and Shockwave Kreons he has. I'm assuming the one in the blue is supposed to be a truck driver, but I'm not sure what that green one is supposed to be. If I get this set, I'll then most likely get a Prime set to go with him.

Also, it's a really small picture, but that's clearly Sentinel Prime advertised on the back with Optimus and Starscream.

While it COULD be a Hasbro employee, it's more likely this item came from a focus group, test market or maybe the person who listed the item has contacts in China. We just don't know...unless the person tells us.

I know...I know...It was my job to dissect shit like this...so its hard for me to resist such a tempting little nugget like this.

If a deal goes through I will post my findings...and especially a review. Hell, Im sure some already emailed the guy too...I dont care, but the thought of one of those guys living right by me is pretty cool. I used to be a Rep for a company that makes video games, and it was a job requirement to have "X" amount of free space at a house or garage for merchandise. I never sold any stuff, because im loyal to the company I work for, but still..thats how it works..if you rRep vacuum cleaners, you prolly have to have at least one of every model for sales presentation, and some boxxed in your garage to sell.

Why did HAsbro call it Kre O too close to Lego... Why not.. Kre-8 or something? Have they stated why it's called kreo?

It's their variation on the word "creo", which is Latin for "I create".

I'm sure there's a face there, but one minute with a paintbrush will fix that.

how big do you think this is? Would it be a substantial difference over the voyager megatron (which I love). If it looks good I might just use this for a leader, since we probably won't get one.

This might make for a good stand-in, but I honestly think there's a good chance we'll get a new Leader Megatron. Especially with his new alt-mode. Though we'll just have to wait and see. Hopefully Botcon will bring us some good news.

If I'm not mistaken, we saw packaging shots for the big Optimus, Bumblebee, and Starscream sets at Toy Fair.

Do you really think we're not going to get a Leader of Truckatron in the next year or two? Cause uh, we got one of Starscream in a post-movie filler line.

Like I said, Im not a huge fan of these, but I DO have a 3 year old, and I know that Legos were a great toy for me. They build creativity skills, and alot more for kids, so I can just mess with it, and put it up for him, when he eventually wants some legos..or Kre-os if they succeed...

Im more interested in finding out who this person is, and if they can get more early stuff. This was just a WIERD find on CL, when I do my TF and JOE checks on CL.

I dunno if you guys look on CL for TFs and other stuff, but ive done REAL well on CL. but just like ebay, you get some of these listings like that one, that will show, say, a broken, painted Leader-1, and they will list it as "RARE, one of a kind, unproduced skywarp" and say they want $500 for it.

Point is, CL is a hodgpodge, of absolute crap, with some real gems, and good deals mixxed in. 90% of the people I deal with are bullshitters, the other 10% are legitimate deals. Im pretty sure this one is a deal. They even knew the MSRP that this will sell at.

I thought it was some sort of prototype or something based on concept art. I feel really stupid. It didn't seem that hard to believe because Megatron's head had had variations, like in the comic books, so I just simply thought that this figure was somthing along those lines. Now I can stop searching google for prime figures.

I have that KO and two others like him. that guy there transforms into a crane truck with a long extendable crane. the red one transforms into a firetruck with extendable ladder. Then theres a blue guy with red legs who transforms into a semi w/trailer. Each came with a pull-back "box" with wheels that was removable. I was 6 when I got them, but I'm sure my parents didn't pay $1,000, probably closer to $1 each. I'm curious as to who would actual fall for that.

I really like the Kre-O toys..this will be a nice set to have too.. but I'm waiting for the Optimus and Prowl ones!!

Definitely getting the Starscream set, haven't decided on other ones yet. The mini-figs are the main draw for me, I bet those are the most heavily collected. Hasbro ought to just sell those individually.

I would totally purchase the Kreons separately. I just have no interest in the whole sets.
