Kre-O Transformers 88-Piece Brick Boxes

Posted on 05-21-2015 at 09:31 AM by Joe Moore under Kre-O
Kre-O-Transformers-88-Piece-Brick-Boxes-2 Thanks to forum member T4mercustomz, we have pics of something cool and random. Family Dollar stores seem to be getting Kre-O Transformers 88-Piece Brick Boxes. These are listed at $5, and are likely similar in fashion to the previously released 73-Piece Kre-O Transformers Brick Boxes, which popped up at Big Lots. The boxes contain an assortment of brick pieces in Transformers friendly colors. Great for building play sets or expanding upon your custom figures.

Rumor - Transformers Kre-O discontinued for the US?

Posted on 04-28-2015 at 03:46 AM by Sol Fury under Kre-O
20887_350120835186496_3385399399735652822_n Treat this with all the usual caution that comes from questions asked of customer service representatives, but we're getting reports that the Transformers Kre-O line may not be continuing in the US.

Christian Flores of the "For Kreon Out Loud!!" group on Facebook asked the question of Hasbro's customer services, and got the following response:

Regrettably, our Spring line of Kre-O Transformers are not scheduled for release in the United States. They will only be available in Canada at this time.

The two important things there are that this only extends to the Spring line of releases - so future ones may come out - and also, the qualification "at this time", which does not rule out the possibility that plans may change.

However, for the moment, it looks like Kre-O is headed for a time out in the US. This writing has been on the wall for a while, with more recent releases being slow to appear in retail, if they've shown at all.

Kre-O Kreon Micro Changers Wave 4 sighted in Family Dollar

Posted on 02-11-2015 at 02:57 PM by Sol Fury under Kre-O
QzjoZQS Good news, Kre-O fans! The Kre-O Transformers Microchangers Wave 4 - which featured the likes of Alpha Trion, Rodimus, Cyclonus, Sandstorm, and Demolishor - has begun to appear on the shelves of Family Dollar stores. First spotted at retail nearly a year ago now, this series was extremely hard to find, thanks to its low distribution. With it now reaching Family Dollar stores, fans who missed out on the blink-and-miss-it availability last year have a second chance at these great little releases. Big thanks to TFW2005 member ChErikS for the sighting news.

Robots in Disguise Kre-o sets released in Taiwan and Singapore

Posted on 01-17-2015 at 03:44 AM by Sol Fury under Kre-O
image News reaches us from TFW2005 members Prime Roller and Yobuster that the Robots in Disguise Kre-O sets have been released in Taiwan and Singapore. Amongst the sightings are the larger sets which feature vehicles and a selection of Kreons, and also the custom Kreon sets for Robots in Disguise. That is pretty much everything that we know of so far for Kre-O for this line on the shelves in Taiwan - so far we just have reports of the boxed building sets in Singapore.

Hopefully this release news means a US sighting of the line should not be too far off - please watch this space for more news.

1922116_10204772725936040_7730819480773408795_n Via Jacquelyn Orenza on Facebook, we have a look at the upcoming Kre-O Transformers Battlechangers in hand. These figures are Transformers Kre-O sets which can transform between robot and alternate modes without the need to be disassembled. The first assortment seems to be giving us four classic characters in this format - Starscream, Grimlock, Optimus Prime and Bumblebee. We're told these figures have fairly substantial backpacks to facilitate the transformations, but they look pretty cool - check out the images after the break.
