Sweet! I can't wait! Good timing too since the Shooter Masters are finally in production. Now we just need the other classics Targetmasters... (Pointblank, Sureshot, Triggerhappy, Scoop, etc)

G1 artfire? wow had no idea...thought it was a comic character or something only

Oh boy, it's Partially-White Inferno!

I tink of Artfire as being Inferno in different colors rather than a seperate individual.

Good thing he has the blue, two Targetmasters, and Grapple's crane arm.

Considering how the original figure looks, this one knocked it out of the park with making lots of changes and including the Targetmasters to really sell the homage.

Who else besides TakaraTomy through Million Publishing would have made those changes? We wouldn't have gotten the Targetmasters any other way, and with their inclusion they can turn Grapple's crane into a water pump.

Any other Artfire in any other situation would have probably just been Inferno with no changes other than the paint job.

Love the mold and I love expanding my classics. I wan't this Artfire, gonna have to get me one of these.

I think they cost about $110 over there. You have to buy a book or something and then there was a special coupon to mail in. These were made to order so it depended how many coupons they got before they went into production.

I still need a stepper now this?!!! Damn it does look frickin' schaweeeeeet though!

6,000 Yen ($73 USD) but like was mentioned before you had to buy the Million Publishing Generations 2012 book, which was like $25 or so.

Buying two is cheaper at $139 for 2.

At first I thought it was horrible that they didn't do the soft grey for the head, fists, and other parts, until I realized that now I can swap that fucking terrible crane thing out for Hot Spot's cannon which had me stoked.






Right up til I realized this one toy would cost as much as ten deluxes in the store right now.

Artfire is my most anticipated official release of the year. Very excited to see it's finally imminent.

He looks totally awesome, but I have 3 versions of this mold already......

Yeah, funny... I don't mind getting seven of a FANTASTIC mold. Plus the head and accessory changes have been well executed... not to mention the wings and accessories from MaidenJapan. He's a champ.

This figure looks so great, there seems like there is nothing wrong that can be done with that Inferno mold.

I'm wondering if I should cancel my preorder at BBTS. $150 is a lot of money. I'm wondering if this will be around for a while. I did wait for a whole year on Stepper and got him for $75 at BBTS.

Okay, now let's get Hauler and Hosehead (new head, more gray) and we can call it a night on this mold.

17th, eh. That's about 10 days earlier than their previous december releases. I think it's a good move on Million Publishing's part. Late December is mad time for postal/delivery services in Japan so getting the boxes out a bit earlier is a good idea I guess.

Looking forward to getting Artfire.

Why risk passing on this version when it looks like the best of the bunch?

This'll be my fourth version of the mold and it'll be five whenever I get around to picking up Botcon Pyro finally.

^ This. Encore or eHobby - I don't care - Just do it. My TFC Stepper has been lonely without his buddy for the longest time. I'd be more than happy to drop $150, $200, whatever on a reissued Artfire. Please do it HasTak! Please!

Whilst it looks neat, I wish they'd make new Targetmaster moulds already. Reusing Nighstick for EVERYONE that they do up as a Targetmaster doesn't work. Granted, a lot of said Targetmasters are e-Hobby exclusives, so new moulds are generally out of the question, but as much as I like Nightstick, I'm sick of seeing that damn mould being used. Why is Hasbro so cheap that they can only make ONE new Targetmaster in 25 years? Oh, sorry, they also made those God-awful Minicons for the Powercore Combiners. I have that one that Artfire comes with, and it's quite simply atrocious (like the rest of them).

I'd still love a Universe Inferno. I'd even settle for Grapple (or that gorgeous GDO Hotspot). But alas, we never got it over here (or at least, not that I ever saw). Can't say I'm surprised I never saw one in shops (because this country sucks), but it IS disappointing. I'd love to have that mould.

Been looking at my BBTS preorders for months debating what I am gonna cut here and there, and always ask myself, is this going to be worth the $140 pricetag, and every new pic we see, I say yes, yes it is.

Looks fantastic! Too pricey for me, particularly for a character I have little interest in, but it is still a really well done upgrade of the original.

None of them are eHOBBY exclusives except the clear purple Nightstick in the Decepticon 3 pack.

I jumped on the preorder when he was supposed to be a regular United release but I couldn't justify $150 just because he turned out to be some exclusive. I wonder if BBTS ordered less of them this time or if they'll sit around to be discounted like Stepper.

That was debunked quite a long time ago. TT and Million Publishing both said the solicit for a regular United Artfire was in error.

I already have a shelf prepared with Rodimus, Kup, Blurr, Cyclonus, Scourge, and Spinister. When my POL ships with Artfire and Stepper (got him Black Friday), they'll join them. Then... Then when my Shooter Masters FINALLY arrive, everyone will have their Targetmaster partners...

In that case, I'm going to try and get a second one when a member here get's tired of keeping theirs...
