By way of Japanese image board 2Chan, we have a look at a scan showing the Transformers Go! Ninja team, the second combiner set for the line who are due for a release in July (Gekisomaru, the lion), August (Hishomaru, the eagle) and September (Sensuimaru, the shark). The image shows the three individual robots in both beast and robot modes, along with artwork of one of the three combined modes, Gougekisou. Check out the image attached to this story at left.

Ninja Beasts vs Dragon Oni.

We could have Beast Wars on our hands.
Shatterpoint
Wow, this guy looks like he'll actually be the better of the two, like he was designed by people that know how to make toys or something.
Dolza_Khyron
some higher up guy in takara, really really wanted to make new brave toys.
worldsgreatest
These are cute.
Stepper
The Ninja team look awesome.
Mechafire
Really liking these.
Feralstorm
Gotta say I almost burst out laughing at the toy pic of a big lion head with arms/legs/head sticking out.
TriBlurr
Yeah.....I'm not feeling these at all. The bird looks okay, but overall they look really odd in beast mode and the bots modes arn't much better.

I'm amused that Takara-Tomy has no problems with making purple Autobots though.

I thought the ninja beast team are Decepticons?

Bird and Fish modes are weak but I have high hopes for the combiner.
Deceptigtar
yeah what the hell, i thought these were CONS? if not forget it.
megatroptimus
Are the combiner teams labeled as Autobots and Decepticons?
strangeguy32000
Super Sentai robot trio becomes a Diet Gundam.
The Giant Robot Enthusiast in me is saying "Me Gusta"
megatron1180
I like the lion the bird is ok but Im not sure about the purple flipper reminds me of some left over power ranger zords
Spider 001
The eagle & the shark look EXACTLY like Power Rangers crap. Especially the shark.

!?
They're Takaratomy toys, not Bandai.

Um, yea, I think you want to say "How! Japan-ish style!"
dirtweed
Headed to BBTS now to cancel my pre-order.
Yggdrasil
That looks so generic it hurts...

Nobody ever said they were Decepticons, and there was never any evidence they were except that they have beast alt. modes. Those of us who can actually read the advertisements have been saying since the get-go that these sounded like they were Autobots -_-().

And while this advertisement STILL doesn't *confirm* that they're Autobots, they DO have giant, red, Autobot sigils plastered on them. So...

At any rate, these guys look like they have much better proportions than the GouKenzan team. So, that's a plus. But the bird and shark beast modes look freaking ridiculous. I know it's been said a hundred times by now... But SERIOUS Brave vibes off this whole line (except, of course, the villains).
Crystal Convoy
Man, those guys look bad.
Yobuster
Nice pics. The art looks awesome but the toys in their individual modes don't look so hot. Clearly had to comprise on the individual bot modes.
AmonDemon112
Leave it to the Japanese to do things right ONCE again! Love this!
NemiMonkey
Oh dear those are really hampered by the combination gimmick. Lion heads way too big, doesn't look terrible, but still not the best. Bird is rather bad looking in beast mode. That's just really pitiful looking, worst then energon swoop in terms of "oh hey those are clearly legs". Slightly disappointed in shark, but I still like him. Really wish he didn't have those big as all heck feet though.
BraveMax
One more thought... The advertisement mentions that you can use each of the three smaller robots' weapons with the combined form (which it refers to as "the combined form" of the three robots), but it makes no mention of the type of "combine them in any sequence you want" we saw with the first three.

I know we never heard anything confirming that they could combine like that, but this would seem to provide evidence that they can't. That, in turn, would help explain why their dimensions are so much better than the first trio...

It's also worth noting that these each release a month apart (the lion in July, the bird in August, and the shark in September), whereas the first three will be released all at once. Maybe they'll be entering the show one at a time?

Brave. is back, baby.

By the way, guys, I do see a faint Autobot symbol on the Lion's forehead/

look closely! They are Autobots! niceeeee
japanda
Because the lion and shark has the red autobot mark with their heads , they must be autobots.
According to this image , they has a partner who is the ninja boy. If they were decepticons , they wouldn't
have.

The Decepticons have had human partners before. I don't see why that necessarily makes them Autobots... But the sigils on them are a pretty clear give-away

GouGekisou seems to have undergone some design changes since that image too. Interesting.

Wow, It's like Digimon mixed with Transformers!
Of course Brave elements are there too. Sweet!

yeah. Gonna be interesting to watch, this Transforemrs GO! I'm not sure HOW they might not port it over to the States?
worldsgreatest
Im pretty sure the plot for Go! stated that Prime left the two combiner teams on Earth to fight Gadora and crew. So yeah, all Autobots.

Sweet. We will see a TF: Galaxy Force-inspired GC-looking robots.
soymonk
The bird one kind of reminds me of Divebomb.
Weirdwolf
Blue lion dude is reminiscent of Baan Gaan to me. Definitely digging these Brave-esque figs.
Roller81
Looks more gundam than Transformers?
aptkane
So a Lion a Bird and a Shark walk into a bar......wait....never mind.
archieboy
I like these...
exomega255

H.E.X.-BRAVE

Michael Bay: get your clipboard out dipshit, you're taking notes.
Naztok
The lion's got a posable main that bits can come off and be swords.
Reminds me of Omegus's idea for a maximal porcupine.
wheeljack359
What Gundam is this????

BTW ^That's a compliment not an insult.

funny cuz' according to history, Kunio Okawara who designed the Gundam & several 1970's era super robots also designed most of the Brave series robots well excluding some who are basically retools of G1 Transformers toys just beefed up on steroids

whatever, dude. Brave were sentient robots and combined and transformed. Gundams weren't. get your super robot facts right.
SPLIT LIP
Not bad. Very brave/retro robot designs. I might pick this up instead of the vehicle one.

I didn't say they were gundams I said the were similar to the gundam style which is not a bad thing.

Oh I see my first post was joking around, poking fun at the Gundam influence.

BTW every super robot design in that time period were very similar since it seemed to be believed that is what robots in the future will look like.

I have my facts right, Don't get so upset when someone mentions something outside of your opinion.

No, you can stick to your 'facts' and I to mine. No biggie. Correction. Almost every 'Super Robot' from the 70s' i.e. Mazinger, Grandeizer, Getter Robo and Gaiking etc looked the same, or had similar themes i.e.Evil Alien forces threatening earth to conqure and destroy, and somehow a team of vehicals that combine into a giant robot or one single super robot is conveniently made to save the day... Gundams were in that category too, as the original RX 78-2 series started in the late 70's. All piloted by humans/ cyborgs. Brave is a 1990's design and included Exkaiser, J-Decker, Gaogaigar etc. I'm not upset, it's just that you seem rather ignorant about different eras of Robot designs, and I don't blame you for it, because you probably didn't grow up or was not exposed to them on a regular basis in Asia like we were growing up, am I right?

That was my first thought. Doesn't mean I don't want them though.
