Online retailer Red Mercury has posted some images of the Transformers Go! Deluxe and Voyager series in package. They are all packaged in robot mode, which draws attention to the robots themselves given how well they contrast against the blue packaging background. Check out the images attached to this post.

Oh gawd. They're keeping Starscream's Prime design. Sweet.

lovin the metallic purple shockwave
I agree with most people on the others , there lame ,
but shockwave is fantastic , plastic colour is fuller and darker , only thing on shockwave I dislike is the blue paint apps
GAUGE
Lame.
I got all happy about this thread just to see in-box images of the new Ninja and Samurai toys just to see the same ol same ol.
Packaging looks odd to me too.

Wow, these guys look awesome!
Steroid Prime
My HLJ japan order shipped yesterday for prime and shockwave so hopefully will have these in a week or so
Optimist_Prime
I know, huh? At very first glance I thought the thumbnail was of Galaxy Force Galaxy Convoy.

Why on Earth does the Legends packaging have art of G1 Optimus? That makes no sense whatsoever… Hell, makes them look like Chinese knock-offs!
Really nice repaints of the Beast Hunters stuff, but apart from possibly the combiners, I'll be leaving these well enough alone.

Lol, Soundwave's pic on front is actually Hasbro's horrible color scheme
Paarthurnax
Ah! So Shockwave is purple after all. Probably gonna have to get him now.
Oh damn! Gonna have to get that Soundwave too!

I jumped in on the Prime pre-order at the last minute at HLJ, and it was released earlier today, so mine's all paid for. It was way cheaper than buying a voyager at retail over here, and since these probably won't even turn up in New Zealand, I thought I may as well go for it. Maybe I'll get Predaking later on, but for now, I'll just stick with Prime. They're looking really nice, though.

HLJ just got their shipment in and no surprise sold out of Prime and Shockwave already. So, should hopefully be pretty soon for BBTS.
While I do like the packaging, I just figured out what it reminds me of. Don't ask which, but it's very reminiscint of one of those yugioh boosters. All I remember is it had dragons that's it, might have been for GX. It's not terrible and I do like the difference in shape for the cardback. Sets it apart from the generic shape we've gotten for the past few years.

I do recall several years back when Taktomy Henkei series first makes it debut, there were the same groans of the TF fandom how terrible the packaging looked like & how ko-ish it is but end up they became sought after toys in the second hand market.
Go figure..
Exodus
Yup I def. like the colors to both of the SW's.

Like mentioned before, that Galaxy Force-esque box style is an attention-grabber.
Aside from that gorgeous Shockwave, nothing from this wave really tickles my fancy. I just managed to find an American Shockwave, so I'm not too upset that I missed the preorders for Go Shocky.
…That said, if I find one for retail price when it's released, I sure as heck won't hesitate to buy it. We all need more cycloptic robo love in life.

Bulkhead is a Deluxe class,ridiculous
BB Shockwave
"Transformers… GO-GO-GO-GO,
One-two-three-four GO!"
I'll be disappointed if the Japanese themesong will not be similar to that of Teen Titans.

The packaging looks terrible, like something I'd expect to see a $2 knockoff packaged on. As for the toys they're definitely more accurate for those who are into that, but at least Hasbro tried something new. I'm not really a fan of the whole spikes on characters who already have better toys thing but I do like what Hasbro did with Optimus. The green makes it stand out against a sea of Primes. Takaras version looks nice, sure, but it's just yet another boring Optimus. Just my take of course, more power to those who dig these.
Underwear
Well some people likes them & others hate them.
To each his own.
prime326
Hate, hate that packaging
slugslinger2004
Same here. They look pretty generic to me. The Galaxy Force packaging was the same color, yes, but it at least had the "outer space/ stars" backdrop with the planets as well.
I wouldn't go as far as to say it's bad, it just looks ok. I wouldn't have a problem throwing out this packaging, and I usually keep all Takara TF's packaging.
