Transformers Generations Japan Bruticus In-Hand Images

Takara-Tomy's Hisashi Yuki has tweeted a nice selection of images of the upcoming Takara-Tomy release of the Fall of Cybertron Combaticons. The five Combaticons are showcased here in their various forms (the shot of Bruticus towering over Jazz looks particularly awesome). There's also a great shot of a Bruticus formed using four different versions of Brawl - Generation 2, US Generations, Japan Generations, and San Diego Comic Con exclusive. A Bruticus with matching limbs - check it out along with the other pics and see what you think!

Saw these on Facebook. I'm really wanting them now.
froggy124
Ah, I want these but I'm still on the fence.
They come out at the se day as MP-13 so it'll be a pricey day!
Stepper
The chrome painted for Bruticus,lovely

Shiny Paint <> Chrome

Im interested to know especially who already own this mold if this is the best foc bruticus so far?
Thundershot
Waiting for Hasbro Soundwave makes these guys feasible. Even though I already own the other three, they're cool enough to add to my collection. Can't wait for the Wreckers too!

Maybe if they sell enough, they'll make another combiner... Defensor, maybe??
Megatron31
i like how they used jazz to hide that insanely long right arm in that last pic.

that said its beauticus

I have a feeling it'll be another Con. Strangely, it seems the Con combiners have better demand. Take a look at at 3rd parties products, practically all of them are Cons with the exception of the TFC Superion.

Seeing those makes me almost glad that people were charging such obscene prices for the SDCC version. Got these on preorder but haven't even had my TT Prime and Jazz through yet.

The G2 box does the same - Blast off is covered up a lot by the artwork.

Like you said though, it is very pretty.

Agreed, it's crazy how much they're charging for the SDCC exclusive! It's good to see Takara Tomy put out the figures in more game accurate colors than the regular Hasbro release, least people have an alternative!
Smashs
Pretty. Still happy with SDCC for $100.
Transbot90210
This is the prettiest version of the bunch but I have SDCC's version which isn't too far behind.
NemiMonkey
Now I really want Vortex. Must....resist....THE SHINY.
Ribieconvoy
Wow, that shot of the Combaticons in bot mode was amazing. All that nice metallic paint coupled with so many tiny detail spots goes to show how easily a little bit of paint can make or break a figure (Arms Micron line...).
Barricade24
I honestly prefer the SDCC version over this one. Cool as they are, I'll stick with the ones I've got. I hope those who missed out on the SDCC version will hopefully be able to get this one.
iphdtd
I actually prefer the SDCC version to this. I like how this one's Blastoff has more paint apps but Bruticus shouldn't be shiny. Maybe if it were his first day as a Decepticon he'd be nice and sparkly but for a giant brute that has seen alot of battle, shiny just seems out of place.
Bountyan
Looks way better and more eye catching than the SDCC set, I'll say that much. SDCC's looks really dull because everything is brown and muted, but this one just pops because the sharp colors. And I think the shininess actually makes them more accurate, because from what I can remember they were pretty damn shiny in that cutscene in the game.
megatroptimus
I ditched the SDCC in favor of the brightly colored retail version and I don't regret it. I used to hate that combiner but now I like it much more despite all the flaws.

I agree, I'm tempted to see if someone would buy the SDCC off me so I can buy the Takara version.
Atomatron
someone make 4 limb pics with the other 3 too!
Kaijumaster
MAN, I just cancelled my Swindle pre-order.......

re-pre-order?
Autovolt 127
They look nicer but it doesn't mean it makes the figures any better themselves. I mean i like Vortex and Blast Foff but rest are so blah.

I would have to say yes. I own the SDCC mold, I have the retail ones MOSC, and the only thing keeping me from the g2 version is my lack of money.

Although...I'm debating on selling my SDCC version for these...thoughts?
Angelwave
OOOOO...nice. I have the SDCC one from HTS that have yet to open. But I might just keep that sealed and get these instead to open. TakTom did a beautiful job on them. The colors are vibrant, yet understated...a technique that seems to escape Hasbro on most occasions. A very nice set.
Scaleface
Oh look, Takara did a better job painting them than Hasbro. SHOCKER!
artiepants
nice paint on crappy molds. The only one that's even tempted me is the G2 giftset, and that's only cuz' i can't believe they did it and recreated the G2 era packaging so unbelievably well...
TCJJ
I had to drop my pre-orders so that I could afford MP-13. Whilst I'm still glad I'll be getting MP-13, I definitely want these guys. They look SO much better than the Hasbro version (and even if I wanted the Hasbro version, which I kind of do, they're nearly impossible to find over here, so I'll probably never have FoC Bruticus either way, now).
gothsaurus
I still have to notice that... like the Japanese Powercore combiners... when you unify the color schemes of these guys, they look aaahhhhmaaaazing. I might have to buy them all, then make combiners out of the colors I like.

Awwww. Vortex. You get left out, sorry.

Strange, those are the two I don't like, though I don't like any of them enough to buy a set. Almost cracked and purchased Swindle a few times, but I think I am finally over it.
The Bucket Kitten
They look ok, just too shiny for my liking.
I'll stick with the G2 giftset.
Wazdakka
Really amazing looking, but considering the fact that I have FP Bruticus Pre-Orderd and G2 FoC Bruticus for the measly sum of $60, the $175+ price tag makes me depressed. However, I may splurge and grab one of them for the sHiNeYS!!!!
Timesynch
Four Brawls, one Onslaught.
AAarcher221
These look awesome.
CodeXCDM
That shot with four Brawl limbs looks frickin' awesome. That said... I'd say as long as you don't mind the overly shiny nature... the Takara version is the go-to version. Cost about as much to import as the SDCC version was originally sold for... but more readily available and I'd say better.
bignick1693
Still not enough brawls. We need a torso brawl.
AnAutobot1985
This is as good as this mold is going to get. This and G2.

I dunno. I think the Wreckers look pretty good, too. I can only imagine how nice a possible TT Wreckers would look colored correctly....
charsdc2
Wow, Takara knows what they're doing!
Isa0
Best looking set. If I didn't already have the SDCC version, I'd be all over this guy.
opt1musaber
This set was how much? Anything over $100 and the price ain't justified.

About $35 each. Then shipping. So it ends up being almost $200 when it's all said and done. Blech. Sad thing is that's still cheaper than ebay prices for the SDCC set.
BlueAngel_Bolt
I plan on getting this, and displaying each Onslaught combined with the same combaticon on 4 limbs.
aptkane
I can't wait to have these guys in hand and see ACTUAL Bruticus transformed the way he should be (the way fans transform him).

You mean you can't tell just by looking at the pictures? It's the most game accurate of all the molds and has metallic paint all over them. How could it not be the best?
