The easy solution, use this guy as Generations RID SCOURGE! That's what I'm doing! Since I didn't buy the Club RID Scourge repaint of RTS G2 Prime...

Plus this one in alt mode and articulation...it's kind of a match for RTS G2 Prime..

That's actually not a bad idea, using it as a Generations RID Scourge. I might just do that if I feel like the TFCC one doesn't cut it.

Great Photos, but I still maintain if you own RID Scourge & Universe 1.0 Nemesis Prime....you have all the "Black Optimus" you need.

That said, I think he makes quite a nice looking Scourge. The speckled plastic adds a little something extra to what could have been a boring straight black.

Those stickers quality is terrible...

If Takara eliminates the stickers for their 2013 Prime toys I would be one happy camper!! I really hate them in most cases. They are already starting to peel from early figures like Skywarp (whose 'gut' Decepticon symbol is peeling off) and I can just see what will happen with figures who have more stickers than others- peel-o-mania!!

Back on topic. Nemesis Prime here is actually a study in minimalism where stickers are concerned, so it completely works for him to have pretty much none at all. The non-Silas Breakdown is a similar story... the fewer stickers the better. Otherwise, N.P. looks awesome! Not sure I want another of this mold though- even with the cool red window and dark coloring- but time will tell.

Im realy thinking about replacing some parts w Voy Optimus...

The thighs, feet, hands, arms and truck grill pieces...

cant wait to get mine. when i heard about the stickers i was excited even more because as is i was kind of let down.

i do however wish this was the gold and black and the nemesis was the exclusive FE mold.

might have to cancel my Club scourge with BBTS. I shall see when i ship my loot

Not being a fan of that version of the Prime mold, at least he comes with better weapons and a good color.

I've been looking for an excuse to get this mold without just getting another Optimus.

The peg holes all over the place really kill it for me.

I was planning to pass on this but he looks pretty tight actually. I would leave off the teal stickers, personally I think he looks more bad-ass in near black/dark grey. Not to mention it's show accurate that way since Silas's Prime was very monochromatic.

You don't really notice the holes much when you have it in hand. So much so that I have to look twice sometimes to see if I've picked up a Hasbro or Takara Optimus.

And having the holes is often very handy - the holes on his back allow you to store a sword on his back. and the ones on his arms make good mounts for cannons like B2. It even allows you to store a gun on his hip using the leg post.

The holes are also useful when combining Optimus/nemesis with Unicron.

I kind of really want that now.

If he had more of a role than a tool at M.E.C.H's disposal, I would be all over this. However I do enjoy this figure, he looks great.

Man, now that is slick looking. But uh, Syd, did you intentionally skip the left shoulder teal decal? Looks like you may have had some trouble with the right shoulder one. It looks partially peeled off and then reapplied unless I'm looking at it wrong?

The stickers are crappy anyway, so I would be surprised if a sticker needed readjusting.

I am seriously considering dropping my preorder on TFCC Scourge because of this guy.

Still in box and can not bear to take him out. Really love this figure and putting him side by side with PRID Prime look great!

The left shoulder sticker is there. I think it's not showing in the photos very well, sorry about that >_<;
I did place the stickers on different spots initially, and peeled them off to stick them on the "correct" spots, so you are right about them looking reused

and I'm really bad at applying them to begin with. I love applying those stickers but don't have the skill



He looks brighter than United Black Optimus -

Guess it would be nitpicking to point out he should have a Autobot symbol and not Decepticon because he was pretending to be Optimus Prime.

He looks good, even with the robo-package sticker attached. Him and Monocole Breakdown are totally bought.

I didn't want him before, but things like this are making it pretty darn hard to resist. Plus that teal crotch

Picked him at TRU yesterday. Not thirilled with him, but Im looking forward to seeing what reprolables comes up with

I had it on pre-order and then dropped it when the first pictures came out. Though the teal stickers do help a lot, I think I'm just going to pay a bit more and get the Dark Guard Optimus Prime instead.

I love that almost Black Big Convoy colorscheme/vibe the Dark Guard has, plus it'll differentiate between the many other black/teal/red Primes on the Black redeco shelves combined with not enough of a price difference right now between that and the Nemesis, along with all the people who laud the FE mold, it's obvious which one I'll go for.

Now I think I need two.

got mine today and love it. micron is awesome and one of the best out there. teal stickers make the difference. sure its not the FE mold but i can deal with it.

Got mine and I really like it. I don't like the mold that's why I did not buy the Red version of this but this black is so good-looking and the red translucent parts in the arms are really what makes this stand-out.

can someone take a pic of silas breakdown and nemesis together with silas and mech soldier?

i have the pair but not silas and soldier, sold them wish i kept the the soldier at least.

maybe a 3rd party could replicate them.

I'm really impressed by this however it's not really that show accurate to the show. I'm thinking I could just get the regular RID Optimus and paint him how he really was in the show but this looks so amazing it's so hard to choose!

i like it this way. unless you actually take a prime and paint for show accuracy, i dont think one done by takara would look good.

in the show he was so distressed and weathered and a toy version would just look like another prime with muted colors and some con symbols.

I don't have other figures you mentioned, but it's a great idea. I know someone who might have them all

I just got mine yesterday, and he's a nice toy. I absolutely love the deco! Very striking and menacing, it makes for a great black repaint. I actually left off all but the headlight stickers because I liked him so much "plain". This is the first time I've owned the Voyager Prime mold, and it impressed me with how it does a few things differently compared to the FE Voyager. It's good, I really like it, and the fact that - to me - it is a new mold makes it all the more worth while.

I gotta say, my opinion has changed and I think I may have to pick this guy up, especially since I don't have the mold anyway.

I got mine last night. I think i'll keep the teal stickers off, though. The plain colors remind me of Dark Link from Zelda: Ocarina of Time.

I find him beautiful! And I really like the shots with the Unicron armor. Finally, a use for that third Unicron mode involving the Prime mold. (no matter how wonky it looks...)
