Wow, nice use of Yakuult plastic bottles! Looked cool initially but after knowing what Soundwaves boosters were made from... well, all I see now are silver yakuult bottles.

But excited about the individual microns releases! I guess this will mean that the US will have a chance to get a hold of these little guys without having to pay for the figure as well!

The bottle booster idea looks like it would work well on Voyager Starscream and Dreadwing. it could also be used to make slip on engine covers for Dark Skfyfire or Treadbolt to give them a slightly different look and if your really clever maybe even leg armour too. It's a good suggestion as they make them bottles out of quite tough stuff.

It's actually given me an idea though perhaps I'll make a template for the stripes on RID Ratchet out of a Muller yogurt pot then if they make more Ratchet's I'll have a reusable template.

No. If you peg the Microns from Optimus, BB, and Ratchet together it's the Star Saber.

Ok, after actually watching the videos (), I see now what Syd means about A, B, and C combining. Had no idea they could do that! I just jumped to a conclusion that minicons+Sword/shield=Star saber/Skyboom.

That's great. Won't be cancelling my preorders for the individual Microns then

I also want all of these. Peaugh also found a way to shoe-horn the CJ's "horn" into the mix as well. Now it means I can buy the much nicer and show accurate RiD Cliffjumper (yes the RiD is better than the FE), then buy two of these CJ Microns for his "horns."

I don't understand the sticker thing they showed with Ratchet. Are those optional stickers? Or are they demonstrating how to customize your own?

I think it's a "make your own decos" kinda thing, y'know, to make using stickers more justifiable.

I agree, though it is a nice effort, I don't think I need all kinds of goofy stuff hanging off all my figures. May try to pick up one here or there, but I don't need an ungodly amount of random cannons, etc all over my figures. Hell, I didn't really like Mech Tech all that much, and these things make that gimmick look like nothing. A little too much going on for me.

No. I can say I'm personally very tempted. I really wish I had the money right now. At the very least it makes me long for a blindbag release here in the US... I love accessories like this. They're a lot of fun.

This is good stuff. I just really need to know if these come still on the runners like the ones that come with the AM core line.

Glad I preordered a set. The Nauto esq shadow blade shuriken combination is tempting.
Ratchet looks amazing decked out. But obviously you can only attach all of those on the Takara version. With the Hasbro version your much more limited to the fists and The Ramming Attack from vehicle mode.

Don't like the soundwave custom. But I get the Idea. Soundwave with a Pitchfork/Trident weapon and Orbital boosters/ battle Scissors.

Cute way to encourage found weaponry and creative toy customs for their slightly older new target demographic though.

In the video, Mr.Kobayashi mentions that he calls that Ratchet "Secret Agent" Mode with "what if Ratchet often sneaks out of the base on his own and secretly helping other Autobots?" scenario.
As for the stickers, he was showing how to make your own stickers with plain paper and double sided tape, making the most of used sticker sheet. Ratchet's sticker sheet had extra Autobot faction symbols and I assume that was used on his shoulders.

Soundwave's turbines - Megatron's Micron Gora (x2), disposable Fork, empty drink bottles (Such as Yakult) and leftover runner (parts tree?) of Micron kits, all painted silver. Mr.Nakase calls this Soundwave "Jet" Mode or "Recycling" Mode

Not much worth mentioning as far as I can think of...I hope what I mentioned above helps a bit

It appears to be the Micron who comes with Terrorcon Cliffjumper.

Personally, I'm very excited for these. I'm buying most of the Arms Micron figures because they're only a few dollars more than if I bought them over here, so I don't mind waiting a bit. I'll buy some of the Hasbro versions as well though, but I'll also probably crack out some paint and/or Gundam markers. Finally, Microns/Minicons done RIGHT. That makes me happy.

I'm just wondering about the giant "booster" (as I believe he refers to them as) Microns. They kind of have a Megatron canon look to them. Maybe they're going to come with Darkness Megatron? I don't know, but I do know that I want four Ratchet swords. I'm still sour that I only got one with my Ratchet. I want two! Well, four would be nice.

By the looks of things, they're going to sell the Microns separately in Japan, too, which will be great. I also enjoyed the customizing stickers thing. It's simple, but I think it's neat. It helps add to the whole model kit aspect that they tried to include with the Microns, and I think showing that off is another great way to market it to children and get them more interested in the figures. At least, if those children have any love for those sort of things that I did when I was young (and still do have a love for, even if I tend to break a lot of stuff trying to make something better. That's trial and error for you).

Damn. That video most sold me some Arms Microns. Are these the ones that come in capsules?

Just makes me wish they sold these separately so I could actually afford to make that badass shuriken for Ratchet.

Soundwave is so silly. He has a fork and giant bottles on his back. I wish they spoke English. Japanese is so fast and sounds funny too. Anyone translate?
