Takara TRU Exclusive Gatling Gun Bumblebee Coming?

Time for the beekeeping suits, as thanks to a Singaporean hobby shop named Roborobo we now have a solicitation for a future Toys R Us Japan exclusive toy, named Gatling Gun Bumblebee. Coming out in the tail-end of 2012 for 8,000 Yen, the toy is a "Perfect Gold coated Bumblebee" with lights and sounds, a weapon reveal gimmick, weapons, an Arms Micron toy and stickers. At this time there are no pictures, but judging by the listing it can be assumed to be a redeco/remold of the Weaponizer Bumblebee.

It is still coming out in the USA. This is an exclusive Golden version for Japan.

No, Hasbro is remembering that they can only charge half of what Takara does at a time when retailers continue to muscle them on cost, and shareholders want more revenue.

Until something in that cycle breaks, you're going to keep seeing Japan only toys in main lines.

Please create a toy other than FRIGGIN Bumblebee.

I am so over the character. I'm to the point that, I'm so sick of seeing him in the stores, that I won't even buy one to do a custom out of.

Jesus H. fucking Christ in a chicken basket, it's gotten to the point where hearing ANY toy announcement at all results in people saying, "BAAWWW Takara exclusive?! Hasblow has abandoned us!". Dude-- read the description. This is obviously Weaponiser Bumblebee with an Arms Micron tacked on. We've already seen that we're getting this one, minus the latter part.

Although in this case, aside from the assuming paint difference, there will be a sticker sheet and Arms Micron (and probably some remoulding to accomodate the micron?). We all know a minicon makes all the difference. (I mock myself....because that sometimes is the case with me

)
