Hisashi Yuki is teasing fans once again via his Twitter account, this time showing off the cool Japanese version of Generations Tankor. This version of Tankor is coming in the Transformers Legends line later this month in Japan, sporting more silver on his grey parts and a more muted blue compared to his Hasbro version – as well as a Vehicon tampograph on his shoulder. We’ve culled a few more comparison images shared by Mr Yuki over the past few days – plus one or two showing other upcoming releases such as Brainstorm.
Interestingly the box – for it looks like the Transformers Legends series is going with boxed releases for Deluxes – reuses the artwork of the Hasbro release, implying the same may also happen for other future releases in the Transformers Legends line.

What's this guy's obbsession with terrible gerwalk modes?
Tankor looks the same. Little more silvery details, not worth the money.

I like the hasbro tankor paint more than takara I got him soon as he was out. I guess im the minority on who likes the hasbro version and like the signature by the way.
Randomus
Between him and Roadbuster, I'm forced to say that their posture is highly dubious.
Points for trying, though.
Biotoakid
anything to make it seem worth money

Takara knocked This one right out of the ball park.
If I do decide to get Tankor, It will be the Legends version.
I can kind of see what you mean but these Legends box designs were meant to emulate the old Takara Beast Wars box packaging.

Oh man, just saw hasbro tankor for 10 bucks at walmart the other day, now i'm gonna have to go back and get him! LOL!
PaladinVance
Considering that the blue on Hasbro's version is the main thing keeping me from getting Tankor, I might have to grab this.
SPLIT LIP
Nice.
Not worth the import to me, but nice. TANKOR PULVERIZE!!

2014, the Age of Gerification!

So Brainstorm has a gerwalk mode…. I think.

Boxes are nice, feels very AEC. I like the extra silver paint on their version of Tankor.
As a side note, Tankor is one of my favorite recent deluxes. I was really pleasantly surprised by him. I've never watch BM, and don't really have any opinions about the character, so I didn't expect to like this figure as much as I did. It was just a cute, kinda retro-feeling toy. I think its articulation and proportions are really just, well… fun.
Robogeek28
I'm glad that TakTom is back to boxing their deluxes, even if only for this line.
Cyclonus79
Dam that's pretty. Love it.
Hicks_Royel
That packaging is very deceptive. Makes him look too much like a voyager.
Digilaut
I think the less-bluey plastic looks better, but overall the changes compared to the Hasbro version feel very minor and insignificant to me. Definitely one of those 'not worth the Takara version' molds – although the problems this toy has were never the paintjob to begin with.

Hisashi Yuki has posted an image of Legends Tankor in package on his Twitter account.
Unlike the other Legends released so far, Tankor's box art reuses Hasbro's.
Tankor will be released on 29 Nov.
