At this point, minicon collectors (like myself) should just start setting aside money reserved for the inevitable exclusives that are bound to keep popping up over the next year or so. It'll be a fun time but an expensive time.

Thanks for the info. Damn though, they're all coming out at the same time. I was hoping they'd stagger them instead...the idea of paying $175-200 at one time to import four minicons isn't something I really wanted to do right now. Oh well.

I'm guessing Shadow Arue will be the hardest to find since that's grouped with AM-01 only.

So that said, are there middlemen we can talk to to try and get our hands on some of these? I want to try and get a Shadow Gora.

It came up in the Artfire thread too, but Bodhar2000 is one dependable person in Japan, and someone I've personally gotten many campaign exclusives from already. There are some other Japanese members here as well who will help but I'm not as familiar with them.

These guys really should be on par with the normal 25-40 range that all the other exclusive figures are going for. The only issue is that there are four of them. Bring them on!!

Shadow Arue, though, is only for people who buy AM-01 Prime. That's probably going to bump up the price for him...

you might be better off to grab an ebay auction with AM-01 prime with the minicon...and if you have that TF already...resale it...

I was able to get the firebolt micron and aimless micron for free in the auction that i ended winning for my AM-01 prime....and i only paid $70ish for him and $80ish for takara FE bulkhead shipped from the same seller.

Yeah - that's how I got my Pinpointer. I bought AM-01. I couldn't find anyone willing to buy AM-01 at Amazon Japan prices (pretty low for retail), so I doubt I'd have much luck selling one at the prices Aeon would be charging. They charge TakTom's MSRP, which is almost $50 USD. Factor in shipping from Japan (where I live) and you've got yourself a $70+ toy. Most people stateside would just as soon buy from BBTS...

So, unless I want ANOTHER AM-01, I will probably just buy off eBay or something. Besides - I have to do that with the others (AM stuff just isn't selling like PE stuff, and the only two of those stores that I have nearby are Aeon and Joshin, and they're each an hour from where I live in opposite directions - not worth it).

Despite the high price and the release schedule...I really hope Takara releases a Black Convoy redeco of one of the Voyager Optimus molds sooner or later. These four could go perfectly with it.
