For those who enjoyed watching the first 13 episodes of Q Transformers we have some good news! Starting this July 6th a second season of the Q Transformers will begin! We’re using a web translation to gather this information from Anime.tv, so some of the details are still not concrete, but it’s clear there will be more episodes for these little Transformers!
As more information surfaces we’ll be sure to update you. Head on over to the discussion thread to share some of your reactions.

I was talking about Hasbro Studios. They could dub it, and then because Joe Schmoe wouldn't watch it normally, they could release through some means to where fans and collectors could get to it easily, but kids and Muggles couldn't. Maybe even do a mailaway offer through Combiner Wars to get some of the figures in U.S. packaging.

I know right? It's funny because I thought Sugita would make an awesome Rodimus and Okamoto would make a good Bumblebee.
I'd love to see this get a dub, though I hope it's not a Hasbro in house voice project like Cyber Missions. Those have awful voice work and direction.
QLRformer
COngratulations on it getting a second season!
Personally, I thought it was funny in a Azamunga Daioh-Nichijou sort of way (both are sitcoms that portray regular life), which was refreshing for a hardcore saga like TF. But I had issues with the language, and I hope we get either subs or dubs for the show.

Better yet: let's see Hasbro take a crack at dubbing it. But rather than having their normal VAs do the voices, have comedians and improv artists do the voices so that the spirit of the original dub would remain.

yes! I can't wait for the season 2 and we really need subs of this (thans to some friends I have a summary about the episodes, but I will love to see it full fansubed!)
Primus00
WOW!! First, another season of this. Then an awesome Destron cast. Can't wait.
Autovolt 127
This.
The next season has another bunch of amazing seiyuus voicing including
Tomokazu Sugita as Starscream (he is also voicing Drift in Adventures, also best known as Joseph Joestar in Jojo's Bizzare Adventure, Kyon in Haruhi Suzimiya, Ranga the Bloodedge in Blazblue and Gintoki in Gintama)
Nobuhiko Okamoto as Soundwave (best known as Rin Okumura in Blue Exorcist and Accelerator in A Certain Magical Index)
Kaito Ishikawa as Shockwave (relatively a newcomer currently voicing Rinne Rokudo in Kyoukai no Rinne)
FanimusMaximus
Can we get it subbed now?
NemiMonkey
YES!!! There is still hope for a Magnus release.
Blitz.
So does anyone have any fansubs for these? TV-Nihon seems to have left TF's and I can find Spanish subs on you tube but not English.

YAY!

Kinda. Optimus speculates that being cute could potentially make them appeal to people outside the regular target audience. Lockdown questions if that really is the best way to attract new fans, which leads into the ad-lib section. It's never said that they exist solely to appeal to new demographics.
Chris McFeely
The entire point of Q-Transformers, as the characters themselves explain in the first episode, is that they're actively targeted at audience who AREN'T normally interested in Transformers.
LoC Soundwave
I'm pretty sure the show is aimed mostly towards adults. They make tons of references to old 80's games, especially shitty ones. Some of the jokes are also a bit on the adult side. The appeal is entirely in the dialogue and the humour.
As for the opening being action packed, it's part of a gag. The idea is that they spend all day fighting, then drive off to popular roadside stops to just chill and have a chat.

Those are great news, the little guys are really fun.

why?
do japanese kids really want to watch their toys just stand around and chat?
the opening makes it look action packed but not a goddamn thing happens and they don't even move.
the first one is the only one that has any animation even at all.
Chris McFeely
Not a lot – the characters spend a minute or two going through a scripted bit about Mystery of Convoy and the history and traits of famous crap games like it, then another minute or two in an ad-lib section that involves the voice-actors, staying in character, thinking up humorous skits based on what they've just been talking about. It's fluff, but it looks like it'd be a larf if someone would sub it!
optimusmegas
what actually happens in this show?
hard to follow since i don't speak japanese.
