Steamhammer and his drones look great in Devy/Constructicon colors! Sledge and Throttler look neat, and Heavytread is sporting G2 Megatron colors, it looks like.

I want the constructicons but not for 70+ $. While people are giving out the hasbro one.

Holy crap, giving them a unified color scheme makes some of these about 1000 times better.

Shame it feels like hasbro mishandled the power core line.

It's still a PCC.

HOLY CRAP G1 POWERCORE CONSTRUCTICONS AND NEMESIS HUFFER! OH MY GOD I WILL EXPLODE FROME THE AWESOMENESS THAT I AM SEEING! This is so awesome that the rubix cube I have been trying to finish just completed itself. This is so awesome that my cat just wrote all the works of William Shakespeare. This is so awesome that scalpers decided to sell toys for their actual price. But most importantly, this is so awesome that Hasbro decided not to cause Bumblebee toys to shelf-form. Ok maybe that last part was a stretch but these repaints are still awesome. My wallet's going to hate me.

Just remember... sweet paint jobs... HORRIBLE drones and combiner modes. Oh, and wayyy overpriced. (If the 5-pack sets could be acquired for $30 total, I would say they're ok purchases... not $70+ which is what stores are putting them...)

Huffer, Steamhammer, Skyhammer, and Heavy Tread.

So many of those decos are so pretty, I don't dislike a single one...though I do think not redecoing Grimstone & Dinobots in Dinoking colors and Undertow as G2 Manta Ray is a missed opportunity.

That said, I do think the Commander & Drone sets should be $50ish to import, not $70ish.

I haven't been liking these Takara PCCs, but I'll admit, I like those G1 colored Constructicons.

Oh also... the Commander Huffer/Crankcase into Nemesis repaint looks nice... but chansformer did better:




Course... most Radicons projects with PCC tend to far outdo what was done with the line... or even the TFC Iron Army limbs.

TBH... I had hoped Takara would've stepped up to bad, and completely remade the limbs very much like what the TFC Iron Army wound up being.

I may bite on Steamhammer. That color scheme is pretty good looking on him. Its just hard to swallow that price knowing I got Steamhammer and another 2 pack at Christmas for $10.

It looks like that the flattening vehicle of Steamhammer is a remold with that heel on the front/back of him.

Giving serious consideration to pre-ordering Tank Master vs. Marine Master. Not only does 'Heavytread' & 'Undertow' look awesome in their new colors, but their Microns are freakin' beautiful!

I loved PCCs, but these are a bit too pricey. I got most of mine at discount price too.

The page isn't loading for me yet, but I really like my PCC Crankcase. Dude's like the ultimate henchman, so I'm pretty excited to see what the United one looks like now.


Edit - Well, I can't say I prefer the United Huffer to Crankcase, but that Undertoe's definitely a winner.

those are nice, but I'm waiting till some of them are on sale, esp Steam Hammer and the 'G1' inspired Constructicon drones.

ye $70 is WAY over.... Similar price to MP 12, I don't think so. This is essentially 1 deluxe figure with 4 untransformable crappy limbs.

I feel like Hasbro will eventually release some PCC's using G1 color schemes under a new Universe/Classics/Generations line. They did that using the RID Build Team in Universe, and the Energon Constructicons in Classics.

As nice as the paint job is, it's still PCC, meaning the combiner connectors are horribly loose/unstable with limbs that like to pop off, and very limited articulation and poseability. And this is an honest assessment coming from me, a person who actually likes the PCC line, despite its inherent glaring flaws. XD

That and the price of these Takara repaints. It'll cost between $70-$90 USD to import these things outside of Japan. Herc and Giant suddenly aren't looking so bad, considering. =)

they do look way better with the unified colour schemes but despite being a bit of temporary fun i found the PCC's ill designed and cheap feeling.

For the most part, those don't look half bad. Kind of hard to make out some of the faction allignments, though, as they've clearly switched some around and I can't see the symbols on some. The only ones I'd be interested in are the G1 Constructicon 5-pack (because that looks really good in the same color scheme) and the repaint of Skyhammer that strikingly resembles G1 Jet/Skyfire.

I also think the Undertow repaint shouldn't have used solid baby/AllSpark blue for the tranlucent bits. I can see how it helps blend in those blatant PCC drone connection points on his back, but it nullifies his visor gimmick of having light piped eyes. Now he looks even more painfully generic.
