New Takara Tomy Solicitations - Fall of Cybertron toys coming to Japan

No doubt this is the FOC line for Takaratomy. My only question is if we get some repaints from past lines ala the last United wave

Is one of those AMW numbers wrong? And do you know what the AMW sets are?

Have we recieved confirmation of what AMW 11 & 12 are yet?

Could also be that G2 Jazz/Optimus that we saw pictures of a while back. Optimus was the RTS Mold using an unreleased blue scheme from G2. I think i was called Combat Hero? It was not too far off from the botcon SG (Diaclone) Magnus deco. Jazz was also the RTS mold with some goofy business all over his chest.

I think that was billed as a WalMart exclusive?

Although a Takara version isn't entirely out of the question.

Time to cancel my FOC Generation 2 Bruticus pre-order...

I'm thinking those are the FOC figures. We know Shockwave is going to be an AM with a special micron, it would make sense for the other two to get the treatment as well.

I only collect TakaraTOMY releases. However, I am OCD about applying stickers, and Shockwave is under the Arms Micron toy line; so I had to buy the Generations version. Since they are coming out with a toy line for the FOC figures, I do not have to buy the Generations versions. Therefore, I will probably cancel my pre-order for the FOC Generation 2 Bruticus. But just in case, I will wait for a couple of months to observe the situation first, after all Bruticus is not shipping till end 2012.

Ooooh. Ta. The only place I'd seen pictures was on FanToFan's pre order page and because they were in the original colours and were with toys AM11 & AM12 originally, that they'd been used as placeholder images. Any actual Images out there?

Yeah, 11 and 12 have been a mystery since they were all announced. Wonder what 13 is gong to be to deserve multiple versions.

Also I'm more interested in what Takara Bruticus has to offer...

Chrome on FOC figures? It'll be tough to pull off, it will be interesting to see just what parts they chrome.

If it's in G1 colors with some chrome.. I'll buy it. If its just one of the US releases with some chrome... nope.

A United Paint job with combined Henkei detailed chroming would be a awesome combination.

I hope there will be Takara Bruticus. Hasbro is ugly too much.

I just hope that is they do utilize the "chrome" that it is tastefully done too. Quite a few of the Henkei ones were very ill placed.

Well, it was fun while it lasted...I rather liked that we lived in a time where, for once, Takara's paint jobs were not the talk of the town (hell, they don't even exist in the AM line) and constantly making me wish for figures I could never afford...

Oh, well. Maybe the money I make working the polls will help me get some of these new toys.

Id hold off if I was you until we get 100% confirmation Takara is even going to release the Combaticons.

And in G2 colors, no less.

If A and D stand for Autobot and Decepticon, maybe it's a Micron designed to work with the "theme" (robot modes or beast modes) of either faction. Not sure what that could be, though.

I wonder what actual differences there'll be on the paint jobs for Jazz and Optimus. I guess we'll probably get some colour on the head/tail lights that was left out on the US releases, but otherwise, I don't think shiny, metallic colours will really work well on them, considering how dirty and battle-scarred the game models look. And I've got no idea how they'll incorporate the chrome.

Seeming that I missed the SDCC Bruticus boxset, and I don't have $200+ to blow in one go at the moment, I hope Takara also tackles them too. And even though they are based on the games designs and colors, I really hope they do Vortex in proper G1 colors instead. Plus: CHROME!!! Droooool

agreed on Vortex. I can't believe after three shots, Hasbro missed the mark on him every time. :^p

It's probably safe to say if Takara does release Bruticus it will be in an all new paint scheme. Hopefully more metallic. But, I don't think they will release a G2 theme for those thinking of canceling their order with Amazon.

Also, for those that thought the SDCC Bruticus is expensive. How much do you think the Takara version will be? I'm guessing around $30 to $35 a figure. So maybe well be lucky to see it go for $175 for the set. But, that's wishful thinking. However, if Takara does a G1 colored version I won't be able to pass it up.

Shockwave is getting released in their Transformers Prime line as an Arms Micron figure. So he'll probably be like the Hasbro one (possibly with less paint), with additional Micron ports on him, stickers, and an Arms Micron (possibly instead of his normal weapon).

Hmmm...I'm going to predict that Jazz's chrome will be his crotch, and Optimus's will be his forearms...

Could be just their weapons.

I wonder if chrome also actually means chrome like with Henkei or is simply shiny paint like most of United.

No doubting there will be Takara Bruticus. I recon next summer.

Repainted Prime or Jazz with 'chrome' is still a pass for me. Just not a big fan of the molds.

Hopefully we get decent colours for Blast Off and Vortex now.

Hm. I don't know if I want or don't want Takara's Bruticus to be in new colours. On one hand, it'll be a new Bruticus for the horde, on the other, it'll be really expensive.
