At a recent Takara-Tomy business meeting, there was an exhibition of upcoming releases. A prototype of the sublime looking Masterpiece Tracks was on show, along with Gold Bumblebee.
The Unite Warriors line was also shown, with both Superion and Menasor represented – however, Menasor was the Hasbro one rather than the altered deco (with Wildrider) rather than the modified deco that will be offered as a set in Japan.

Unfortunately, yes. I buy from BBTS as a kind of 'insurance policy' if there are problems with an item, so admittedly not the cheapest option.
$64.99 for G2 BB + $26.74 for shipping = $91.73. By the time it's changed from U.S to New Zealand dollars it works out to $112.83.
Regardless, I'm kinda getting turned off by MP and associated 3P items at the moment. I just feel like it's never ending and I'm not enjoying the toys as much as I would like – even for characters that I would consider to be 'must haves', and I don't like that feeling.
Somewhere along the line it became a case of jumping on any MP just to avoid missing out, and I've lost the focus I had in my collection.
I'm even looking to start selling off a few soon – time to whittle the collection down to most-loved rather than anything/everything under the MP banner, specifically focusing on the glut of Autobot cars…

Do you really think some of these combiners would be redone so quickly after these releases?

Tracks looks sexy. And I kinda regret not preordering G2 Bee now. I'm not liking the way they're doing that card art though. That background just looks too bland the same way Magnuses does (Starsaber somehow managed to have gorgeous looking art and background on the other hand).

Does BB G2 look kind of dull to you guys? I know we're not getting chrome gold (), but I hope it isn't THAT dull…
If the CW toys do well enough, we may see a continuation of this line (or a second iteration). In that scenario, some of these combiners may get revisited, offering the naysayers a second version to enjoy (or complain about).
Regardless of whether you think these CW toys are good or bad, I don't think anyone is arguing that this is a bad direction for the toys… unless they just hate combiners in general. There are some people that do. I guess.

Not for what Takara is going for, cartoon accuracy. I could only find one tiny pic with grainy quality so I didn't bother to link it.

Ordered both. The wait is… less than ideal. I'm really excited to get them after picking up Off Road and Alpha Bravo. They're nice, chunky bots.

I couldn't have said it better myself.
Edit: Some folks are just in denial that the CW line have took off & so far been well received by the fandom.

Fun and awesome toys!

Dear lord what were they thinking with those combiners??

Happy to see Bee and Tracks.

What's with Skydive's thunderbolt decals, aren't they meant to be parallel to the wings?

MENASOR IS UGLY~ LONG ARM! SHORT BODY!! COMPARE WITH THE ARTS WORK IS 2 DIFFERENT THINGS!! WHY HASBRO DO THIS UGLY TOY????
superion is better. though I had buy both. but I really dont like the menasor main body too short…

Shinkalion belonged to kid's line with big robot head.
Hanzkaz
I've decided to get both versions of Menasor – Motormaster makes a nice standalone figure and Grand Scourge needs his own team.
I'm curious about these new Shinkarion (Shinkalion?) train-bots. I wonder if we could get a version of Raiden from some of those. I wouldn't put it past Takara-Tomy to try something like that.

I was hoping for more pictures of Superion, robot mode and vehicle pictures. I know we know what they look like but I still would still like better pictures.

I have to admit that the white hands and feet definitely look great in Takara's Superion and despite that I really like Alpha Bravo as a figure, Slingshot gives the whole combiner form a better sense of uniformity. Will most likely pick it up.
Still thinking that Takara's Menasor is not worthy though.

Well let's get started then!

That is one inferior Inferion. Such an ugly white mess, and don't get me started on that extra jet!

At least they didn't use offroad

Glad the red on Hasbro's Wildrider seem to be a darker shade than promo shots showed.
Still disappointed the paint on G2 Bee isn't brighter.
