Thanks to the Twitter feed of TF YUKI we have some in-hand images of the Takara Generations figures of Waspinator (TG30) and Rhinox (TG31).
The Takara versions of these fan favorite figures feature a more metallic and glossy finish to the decos, including a very slick looking paint job on Rhinox’s weapons which gives them show accuracy.
Check out the images after the jump and let us know if you’re holding out for the Takara versions!

Still half a month away. Typically they don't see release in Japan until the last week of the month. Domestic sellers like BBTS don't get them until about a week after that.
Right now
BBTS- $33.99
TFsource- $37.99
Robotkingodm- $27.90 (shipping kills the savings since it's from China)
etoysjapan- $23.71 (I've heard shipping can be high since it ships from overseas or something to that effect)
Amiami and HLJ already stopped taking pre-orders. I'm keeping an eye on HLJ to see if they get additional stock.

Even though Rhinox looks like he is made out of chocolate but am definitely getting it.
Cyclonus79
I think there making there way out now. Mines on preorder at BBTS. I'm thinking we'll have him by the end of this month no doubt.

Are the Takara versions already out? Where can you get them?
LegendAntihero
The Takara one is better but I'll save my money. I'll always be happy with always buying Hasbro's versions of transformers as long as they do a decent job. I tend to buy Transformers from whoever releases them first. Masterpieces toys, Takara. Chug, Hasbro

Get the Takara version

Mother F—I still can't decide which Waspinator to get. Aside from the yellow teeth, I like them both equally. Might just have to find a way to get bother after all then.
What's up with the weird Optimus cosplaying animal pin?

Rhinox is so cartoon accurate, great job

My main issue with Takarawaspy is where Hasbro's version had three different tones of green plastic, Takara made them all the same, or very similar (hard to say for sure looking at the photos). This makes the toy more screen accurate in some ways (also helps those robot arms blend in better for wasp mode) and less so in others. It also makes it look really boring to me visually, as so much of the toy is a dark green mass. I imagine it probably looks better in person. Metallic/pearly-colored things usually do. I'm not paying a premium just to find out though.
Rhinox appears very good, if kinda greasy-looking. But then, Hasbro's looks good to me too, just not AS good. It's like a B+ versus an A to me.

And you are being very closed minded as someone already said.
Nothing about either versions are cheap. Takara's are just more expensive and some of us aren't fans of a metallic rhino who sould be organic and don't feel like buying it just to get the painted guns. Henceforth, painted guns= not worth it.
Also, only Waspinator's mouth is accurate. The rest of his colors are not. Nothing you say can change that fact.
Ironhide4
Cause ya just get a lot of people whining and being all butt hurt because they're too cheap to pay for something accurate, instead they try to deny how good it looks.
Takara tried too hard, you're hilarious.
GizmoTron
The lack of bright yellow hurts Waspinator here.
I do like the Rhinox, just not sure if it's worth the import price for painted guns.
Autovolt 127
and being cheap with Transformers is a bad thing because???????
Honestly the Hasbro versions look just fine to me, Takara tried to hard here.
Mechafire
Yup, will be getting Rhinox. Looks fantastic.
Undecided about Waspinator.
TrueNomadSkies
I really like that Waspinator, but Rhinox is sporting way too much body oil for my liking.
RageTreb
I have the Takara Rhinox preordered. I initially just wanted him for his guns, but surprisingly enough if you look at screen shots from the show, he's not that far off. His rhino skin was certainly darker in the show than I remember, and the Takara version is closer to that.
I really wish I could simplify it and also preorder Takara Waspinator, but making his yellow paint metallic has the unfortunate side effect of making it look more mustard yellow, which takes away the nice contrast his colors normally have.
Ironhide4
You mean true statement.
Sammael
I'm likely going to end up purchasing this Rhinox, though I'd prefer a matte finish instead of a shiny one. The Hasbro Rhinox is tan, not brown, and Rhinox was brown in the show.
DPrime
They were both pretty shiny in the show, even in Beast mode… I can see the desire for a more realistic rhino, but these seem pretty accurate to the source material to me…
Galaxy Convoy
Waspinator looks okay. Not digging the metallic yellow/gold and burnt-orange legs, as Split put it.
Rhinox though… He looks like he's made out of chocolate. Chocola–Nox!
