The chrome seems a bit too random. Makes him looked 'tricked-out' more than anything.

Also- Someone actually made Voyager Starscream look interesting.

The chrome is only on his head chest and shoulders

The chroming isn't random enough.
They should have skipped the head.
I saw a close-up a while back.
Don't remember where.
The chroming washes out all the detail in the face.
Looked like the chrome was just pored in.

Random chrome kind of ruins it, and the black makes it look odd. Shame, I really wanted to like this one.

Also, that has to be the best fanmode ever.

I like shiny but this is just too much.

The black looks awful, and the chrome looks terribly placed. Glad I passed on it.

I wanted to like it since it doesn't have the weird brown plastic of the Hasbro release.

But the chrome is just too random and doesn't really add to it. Still like it more than Hasbro's, but... that's just not enough.

This puts the Hasbro version to shame. I'll wait for some kind of sale though before I pick this up. Love the hell out of the chrome and the microns.

Love Love Love this version of the mold especially the microns! I don't understand all of the hate...I think it looks fan-freaking-tastic. The best part is you don't have to apply the highlight stickers.

They went all "pimp my cybertronian ride" on the RiD Voyager Megatron mold and it looks awesome.

Damn it! Now I have to go buy a Voyager Starscream for that fan mode!

boy that Megatron is Sexy and his Minicons are even sexier, but the fact he costs more than 2 Jet Vehicons....I can't justify the cost.

I was highly anticipating this Megatron, but turns out I just don't like him that much. There's TOO much chrome... And yes I am aware that you do not need to apply the stickers, but even without them it's still too glaring. I like chrome when it's justified and muted (kinda like on Buster Prime) and mixed with metallic paint. Had the chest being chromed and the rest flat painted or metallic I would've loved it, there's no reason for the head and shoulders to be chromed too IMHO.

The chrome looks stupid. It always looks stupid if chrome is one random place that makes no sense and nowhere else.

I'd like it a lot more of the head wasn't chromed, but I still love it. Best looking Megatron release across 4 lines [FE, AM, US Prime and Cyberverse].

Love the fact that the arms\legs stickers harken back to G1 Megatron's regal chest tribal stickers. The bat minicon looks SICK.

Looks like the US version is still by far the best, bland colors > this mishmash rubbish.

About the only thing this mess has going for it is the micron.

Ok.. 1st off, that Voyager Starscream thing is disturbing. Ok, now on to the subject of Megs. I like the figure mould, and even the choice of black plastics, but the chrome accents seem crappy, since they really accent the mould streaks and scuffs.

With out the chrome, and just using silver paint, it would look better to me.

Too chromey for my tastes. A little would be nice, but they went kinda overboard.

As for Megs, I think they should have just painted him the same silver as the FE deluxe. That toy is still gorgeous, if you ask me. But the dull plastic on the Hasbro RiD Megs still beats the random chrome.

Looks decent but they should have chromed the legs also to give a more consistent look to the toy.

Looks kinda cool, actually. Digging the black plastic and filigree accents on the legs since it reminds me of G1 (gun) Megs. The chrome looks decent; the problem is that the overall package looks uneven since only select parts are chrome while the rest is unpainted plastic. I would have much preferred a more uniform silver paint job over most of the figure, similar to United Megatron vs. the random chrome a la Henkei Megatron. I quite dig the more show accurate arm cannon at least. And Starscream's fanmode is just too funny. XD

I want a black Shadow Blade repaint of the Voyager mold.
