It's a popsicle company promo. It was front paged a couple weeks ago - super weird and very Japanese. (And yet, so strange that I kinda want one.)

Also, Matrix clock looks kinda cool.

Is there any major Japanese toy event coming up soon where Takara might reveal Sideswipe? They've really been pushing that line art lately so I imagine a full reveal isn't too far off. It'd be refreshing to see Hasbro debut a Masterpiece figure for once though, say at SDCC....

However, for certain other people on the forum (and they know who they are), it will probably be a dream come true.

There's Wonderfest, at least, but I think that's a bit farther off. I'm sure something is coming up, I thought Japan has multiple conventions.

As for Sideswipe at SDCC, unless they're announcing their intention to release Sideswipe sometime next year, I doubt we'd see it at SDCC this year. They don't make announcements regarding Takara releases, Takara has virtually no presence at SDCC and Hasbro hasn't gotten around to releasing the MP Optimus yet. Hasbro throwing out news for Sideswipe would be nice but also jumping the gun a bit unless they're changing the way they handle MP releases.

Love the way Arcee looks! Her Micron looks pretty good too! However I'm bugged about the ports on her wings. They look so out of place. If they were the same color as the wings it'll at least look not as glaring.

Bulkhead is the only Arms Micron figure they managed to make better than the Hasbro version.

Not to mention, we'll presumably get the new MP Starscream before sideswipe, so...

I want the orange/black Kup repaint. It looks boss.

[In all Seriousness Kiss players is better than that - heck Mickey Mouse is better than that... Why did Hasbro allow them to devalue the brand name with that "Thing" a Cosplay popsicle man ?

As we some times say it's "A waste of a slot" and waste of a designers time, and a waste of plastic - plastic and time that should be spent on making something that does not devalue the franchise.

...as for the Starhammer, the promo photos are intriguing. I will be genuinely shocked if we get a Transformers toy that has LEDs any other color but red.
