More Pics From the Tokyo Toy Show

Megatron actually sorta looks better than the NA release mostly because he doesn't have that horrible bland colored plastic. Liking Jet Vehicon. Tempted to pre-order him. The innaccurate pink color doesn't phase me in the slightest; in fact, I actually like it more than the show.

Is Red Alert supposed to be showing an ear flash gimmick like in that one episode of the cartoon?

At least now I know how big Mp-13 Soundwave is.

Terrorcon Bumblebee looks alright, but I love that clear purple micron he comes with.

Megs does look good too.

I was hoping the purple on the Jet Vehicon would more closely match the normal Vehicons, but still looks good.

However, that Megatron is much better looking than the dull one Hasbro gave us.

So does that mean BB will die a horrible death in TFP? I hope so.

As for the figure, finally a Bumblebee repaint that rivals the epic levels of DOTM CF BB. I want that one.

Terrorcon 'Bee having a black base seems weird. It's almost like he got zombiefied in his Shadow Strike colors.

Terrorcon Bumblebee just SCREAMS "kitschy Japan-only repaint". Good for novelty value, but not my thing. Gotta love the lulzy comments from Bee-haters, though.

Terrorcon BB is hilarious. And actually cool. I shame it's probably a gratuitous Takara redeco...probably. Still, if that was on a US shelf I'd buy it for lulz, and it's not like I don't have enough Bumblebees.

More importantly...did we just confirm that Soundwave holds the original tapes? Cause damn, that's a good move. Maybe I'll hold onto my Encore Overkill after all!

We'll never see Terrorcon Bumblebee over here... no way Hasbro wants to present their most kid-friendly character as a "scary" zombie.

Though I could see this being a con exclusive in 2013, just like Terrorcon Cliffjumper or all the Nemesis Prime repaints. Gotta keep the evil versions of the good characters away from children!

it doesn't look like a terrorcon/zombie, and more like just vehicon. or just a generic decepticon. the japanese zombie cliffjumper is clear made out of clear plastic.

this guy is black with clear plastic. PLUS he has a decepticon symbol.

thus clearly NOT a zombie. but a decepticon.

Megatron though, SEXY! I wish they'd chromed the entire thing, but I could see Reprolabels creating some matching stickers for the arms and legs....

I just bought one of the BB that have been warming store shelves to make one of these...Oh well, I guess he'll be going back to his buddies on the shelf!

MP Soundwave is pretty much as tall as I expected him to be. And he can hold G1 cassette tapes, awesome! Guess that means I'll hang on to my G1 Encore Big Mission sets.

Jet Vehicon and Darkness Megatron look pretty cool. Terrorcon BB is.... interesting; definitely should have been the Stealth version of the release instead.

Terrocon wha? Also, every time I look at Soundwave I want it more. All the cassettes are really nice, it's size is right, it can hold G1 cassettes, etc.

I wonder if that Megatron is shiny because of chrome, or stickers. There's something about it that looks off...
