Million Publishing has updated their website with some new images of their Infiltrator Starscream mail-in exclusive figure. Infiltrator Starscream is a translucent “cloaked” version of Starscream who includes some additional weapons above and beyond his usual twin gatling guns, and is the mail-away exclusive with the Generations 2013 book. The images also show the interaction of the weapons with Takara-Tomy’s Metroplex, and Infiltrator Starscream equipped with Metroplex’s large black shoulder cannons. Check out the new images on Million Publishing’s website.

In WfC game, it was revealed that Starscream is (was?) one of the very few individuals that knows the process to make Dark Energon. He was to betray that knowledge to Megatron if Megs taught him how to properly control it (or something like that).
Bahamut Prime
He's gonna pack some serious heat now!

Wouldn't you be better off with the regular release? The Hasbro one can probably be found for a decent price – and even the regular Takara one is much cheaper than this one (and features a really, really nice paintjob).
Big Convoy XIII
I'd say pass, but I still need a FOC version of him, so maybe when the price drops…

Someone mentioned Fall of Cybertron. Starscream also had a background as a science within the Generation One series. Skyfire happened to had been his partner until they were separated when Skyfire crash landed on Earth. (Episode 7: "Fire in the Sky") He also betrayed some of his scientific knowledge from time to time during that same first aired Transformers series.
As for Generations Starscream, other than the personality model & character we already know of that's played time and again…very well he was a scientist by profession in the past.
As a side note, I found it surprising that in RiD Shockwave was fingered to be the scientist. In older series he had always been some sort of tactician…a balance to to Autobot's Prowl.

Hopefully coming to a loose factory seconds dealer near me, cos I can't afford Takara but I want this.

Are the guns supposed to be the draw for this figure? The clear gimmick just doesn't seem to work here.
Soundwave17
Armed and ready to go.
MachSabre
At the very least, I think we can all probably agree that he wasn't a very good scientist.

For the price of Hasbro's FoC Sidewipe, FoC Starscream, and FoC Shockwave, you can have those weapons at a fraction of the cost of this version's release
All of which none appeared in WfC/FoC (isn't what this figure is based off of, yes?)
He didn't exist in WfC/FoC either. Isn't this fig based off the infiltrator mode he was in FoC a chapter behind that of playing Grimlock?
Can't help but agree

*Sees FOC weapons pegged onto Metroplex*
Takara, you cray-cray.
Spider 001
I'd be all over this if it were Sunstorm, Acid Storm, Dirge, Thrust or Ramjet. But lame ass ghost Starscream doesn't exist in my world. Ghost Starscream & the return of Optimus Prime were failed attempts at saving G1. Nothing more.
Raiju
Kinda want his weapons.

Looks cool! Wish the blue was darker, slightly more purple, though. That's more accurate (as far as translucent Starscream is accurate). Would have tied nicely into his level in FOC, looking like a cloaked version.
Still, I'm a sucker for translucent plastic!
Kraken
Yes he is. He was always a scientist. He and Skyfire were big science buddies.
Omegatron
I really don't like that mold. The area behind the cockpit in vehicle mode seems unfinished, and the robot mode has cankles. Easy pass.
GaussGunner
In FOC)).
maku098
I would get this just for the guns, but he is gonna be expensive. Pass.
Sol Fury
I like the way he looks equipped with Metroplex's shoulder cannons. I'll have to give that a go.
