e-Hobby Shop, who recently announced a partnership with the official Transformers Collection’s Club, has tweeted an image of a familiar Shattered Glass Quintesson.
The text of the tweet is that “this is very different from the usual Quintesson design, with this face being based on Buddha. There was a face of peace, satisfaction, benevolence, and love, too. The setting of SG (Shattered Glass) is really interesting.
While this does not relate to a potential figure, it does indicate the cooperation between the American and Japanese exclusives providers. It’s a promotion of the Shattered Glass universe which is coming to Japan with the E-Hobby partnership and the 2012 Botcon boxed set.

Ugh! I hate hippies! They say they want to save the world, but all they do is smoke pot and not shower!
Omega_Sentinel
Looks like a good sidekick for the new Green Lantern.
Stepper
Nah,not interested in Shattered Glass Quint.

Ehobby and TFCC don't have the budget to tool an all new figure. Hasbro and Takara aren't going to spend that kind of money on an obscure character they can't market at retail. And would they really manufacture a Shattered Glass Quintesson before the classic version? Come on, guys. You should know better.

^Dude, I did not see that coming!
nice one and far out.

Oh whew.

Sorry guys, but there aren't any plans for an e-HOBBY Aquarius.
I do a TF Quiz in Japanese on the e-HOBBY Twitter account every evening, with a different theme each week. This week's theme is Shattered Glass, so I asked what the name of the appearing SG Quintesson is.
After some people got it right, I gave them a little character info on it.
But seriously, how can you not dig the character? His faces were based (ostensibly) on Buddha, Martin Luther King Jr., Gandhi, John Lennon, and Jerry Garcia.
We'll announce release info when we can. Just not for this!

It's a small step. And unexpectedly out of taste. But a stepping stone… For now… Here's to hoping seeing improved remolds, new molds and such between the two…
Rated X
If it looks like the pic Ill buy it. The purple looks a little silver-ish to me so this will go nice next to the Impossible Toys quints. I could care less about the SG concept. He will be a generic Quint in my Quintessa display.

So THAT'S what happens when these two procreate!!!
[Wing_Saber-X]
one can hope, right?
Composite Ghost
There won't be a toy.
[Wing_Saber-X]
Hippie Quints rock, no?
Kuma Style
This is amazing… do want.
Maximo Prime
i would buy the shit out of this. All of those cool cultural icons..

That was part of "TF quiz" he was tweeting (asking the name of the SG Quint). More relevantly(?) the readers were asked if they would be interested in obtaining GI Joe exclusives through eHobby.

Rainbow diarrhea……..

Want. I'ts like the Yin and Yang concept of Quints!
Thebricklord
If this comes out I may get this just because it is a WTF thing for E-Hobby and TFCC to do. Someone answer this though could the mold be Energon Alpha Quintesson.
Feralstorm
Agreed. The older bios and material even paint the SG Quints as Trek-Federation-nods in their general philosophy.
Gotta say I'm full-on surprised at how many here are discovering the SG Quintessons for the first time. Apparently these (admittedly club material exclusive) guys are more obscure than I realized.
