Courtesy of Taghobby, we have a fresh look at some Transformers offerings in the D-Style series. Coming to you from the Cafereo Character Convention 2015, these images show not only the D-Style Megatron and Starscream, but also D-Style versions of Thundercracker and Skywarp! These four are fully articulated, but non-transforming, and are done in that iconic semi-deformed look.

Mine arrived today!
tekering – are you planning on painting everything? I worry about ruining it if I did the whole piece.
From what I can tell, the main things needed are:
*Black paint on foot
*Black paint on Eyebrows and open mouth
*Thin pen round the three belly button colors
*Thin pen round the details on the inner thighs
Then maybe darken up the red inner thighs and if I'm really brave, something on the face.
For the best look, like on the promo photos, I guess spray paint everything whilst it's still on the sprues – I really doubt I'll be doing that.
When unpainted I think Megs looks much better than Optimus.
Robogeek28
He definitely looks great without it!

I haven't applied any paint to my Megatron…
…but I do intend to.
Robogeek28
Bummer.
crazee928
the ones on display are all painted. I'm curious to see what paint apps the actual figures will include when the time comes, similar to the painted yellow on prime's crotch area.

Skywarp and Thundercracker look adorable.
Robogeek28
Guess I'll hafta look for one when I go out this weekend, thanks man.

They just snap together quite nicely … however, you will want something to cut the pieces off the sprues – probably a side cutter and a hobby knife. A really cheap side cutter will probably last the lifetime of a single kit, or you can get a decent one which should last a long time.
Robogeek28
They haven't had preorders put up yet.

I have Megs and prime being shipped right now, never knew there were seekers! Where can I get them?
Robogeek28
Do you need any tools to assemble these things or do they just snap together?
TCJJ
Oh HELL yes. These are going to be great.
I still need to work on making a transforming D-Style Optimus. Should be fun.
Chiller
Optimus looks fine unpainted .. but really comes to life with some paint details. Like you, I had no paint skills, so I did just tiny details on the Optimus' truck until I was confident I wasn't going to ruin Optimus. Really glad I did.
I'd expect they can hold the megs gun – The hands look very very similar to Optimus' hands.
Just noticed the splayed open hand on thundercracker too!!
Robogeek28
Hopefully these guys on display are unpainted, because they look great as is. I have no painting skills whatsoever, so hopefully these will look just like the pics once they're assembled.
Also, Prime is a little outnumbered methinks.

NP, happened to me too. With these and the qt seekers, it looks like I've got more of these goofy little things to pick up. I think I'll pick up Megatron and Prime just for fun.
It happens from time to time, like with Encore, or Robot Masters, or the recent KidsLogic figures – Starscream is separate and the other two get paired, it works well for those that just want SS. Since I collect the other two and don't usually buy Starscream, I really like it when they do that.
I'm assuming they come with more faces like Megatron does, they all have accessories of some kind. I hope the seekers can hold the little alt mode pistol that comes with Megatron.
Raiju
Gah, they're so cute!

This is very timely good news – I've recently finished painting Optimus and Megs is in the post.
What about the Starscream figure? It'd be a little odd to have him separate.
Hoping they come with changeable faces like Megs.
Robogeek28
Thanks man, these somehow slipped past my radar.
Cax6ton
Even better, I guess it saves me an extra click. Hopefully that doesn't mean that they will share interchangeable parts.

Where can I get these?
