She still looks awesome. I don't know about anybody else, but I'm really digging her packaging; very G1 esque.

I remain slightly amazed and amused that in this day and age, they still ballsed it up into "Minelba." Unless they're doing it deliberately for nostalgia, or something.

I really like her figure, sorta reminds me Zero. Maybe its the white, black and red armor with the pretty long blonde hair. XD What? Zero has pretty, long blonde hair.

Given how the packaging is designed to be a callback to the general style of Masterforce and G1, I think that is extremely likely. Or they just copied the way it was on the original G1 and did not want to change up for the new version.

Amiami is cheaper, but coming from Japan, so much higher shipping. Depending on where you live, it'll likely even out more or less.

You and me both. I think I'd still choose Minerva over everything else I have pre-ordered if I had to make a choice, though. But it still looks great! I'm just hoping they don't twist my arm any more and make me go after the Nightbeat Minerva.

I'm glad so many people are excited about this, because it's not a regular Transformers item, so it shows that there is indeed a market for it, even if it's niche. The one thing I wish it had done differently is the head on the back. Whilst it's a neat touch, I really wish they could have made it work as a true Headmaster that could plug into the G1 toys, although obviously that's a bit obscure at this point in time, especially for an officially licensed product.

This figure looks great but there is no way I'd shell out over $100 for it. The Korean Minerva KO with Reproplabels stickers will be my stand in Minerva in my collection.

Amiami just emailed me to say her release was moved up from late July to late June. Should be shipping soonish!

Yeah, I just noticed that as I was looking through my July order. Thankfully, amiami hasn't moved her from my July order to my June order yet. Though, I fully expect to wake up tomorrow to find an email from them notifying me that they've moved her, which will push my June order over the $500 mark.

I haven't heard anything from HLJ yet. Bumping this up was not cool. I'm not going to have the money if they invoice me anytime soon.

Unless you're speaking from experience I don't think they will. They're very strict on paying for your items when they come in (and you can't cancel them after the fact). I mean with good reason and all.
