I thought at NYCC that they were going to change the box art so it looked more like the toy.

The BBTS site lists it as late January Asia probably a bit earlier.

Once we see non-PSd images of the TOYS will decide.

Maybe Hasbro/Takara can take this opportunity to re-issue/retool more of the Energon/Cybertron molds into Classic characters. Energon Megatron into Thunderwing and Cybertron Starscream into Dai Atlas please

I thought Hasbro said Omega was getting new art? This looks like a simple recolour. It doesn't even have the new hand and head.

EDIT: On second glance they did change the art work... Only they just changed the color pallet of the original EOS to match this one.

Omega Supreme looks fantastic! This will be mine.

If they will redeco this retool and make a nice guardian version somewhere down the line that would be one big and expensive armybuilder!

Sounds like I remain the only person excited by Prime and with little interest in Omega.

I wonder if that will mean a cheap Prime in my future.

It's not an ideal Classics Omega but it will do the trick especially with the new head. I'm looking forward to it. I'm really surprised that we haven't seen any new pics of this...I'm wondering how extensively the head was remolded, I'd assume it needed to be removed for the alt mode but I wonder if it will still be integrated into the battleship half like the original Energon Omega.

Right? It's not even that difficult, basically a new headsculpt, and some recoloring, and voila! Dai Atlas!

Really hope the Platinum line looks into doing these sort of retools/repaints.

I can say this, the Hasbro guys did a really good job explaining the packaging at TFCon. I can't wait for OS to hit Amazon (i'm hoping they are less expensive than BBTS).

The artwork is pretty lame for Omega Supreme since all they did was recolor the original energon art.

They could have at the very least redrew is claw arm and head. :/

Now if only Fattimus Prime even looked remotely as good as he does in his box art...

Omega will be very sweet to have... IIRC, he's just a head taller than Hercules too... so they will display quite well together.

Wow! Nice. I really like both of these.As much as I like the idea of a combiner OP,they way this one looks is,"meh" too me.That OS is the bees knees though!

I really would like to see anything that is placing itself as a premium deco to have a properly painted faction logo and Painted wheel hubs personally.

And they've not even retained the Drone Number either "Sigh" That said I do like the deco - it's just a bit depressing that if you want a premium item to look it's best you have to paint it yourself - especially when it will likely cost more than double the original price.

I'd rather they lost the electronics (if it has them) and painted it better and included some chrome like the Superlink version has.

I wished they didn't remold omega supreme, sure the new remolds are g1 accurate, but I just love the energon design so much more

Off topic, but I've got Cybertron/GF Megatron as classics Overlord in my collection.

Optimus in combined form looks pretty great.

Energon Prime does look much better in red and blue G1 colors but in the end, it's still the Energon Prime mold and I dont really want another one of those. But now, Omega Supreme might be a different story. He really looks sharp in G1 colors and would look good with my other classics.

I plan to nab the Optimus prime as I do not own an Energon prime and i love the colors on this I want the Omega Supreme as well but its a lower priority and will likely have to wait until after i get Fort max.

Year of the Snake Prime looks almost respectable.

Then you realize it's Fatimus Prime, the worst Optimus ever made, and the only reason he is being rereleased is so that Omega-Supreme-done-right here has addon components available.

I'm really torn between Omega Supreme and Genesis, because Energon Omega, even in G1 colors with a new head and arm, is still kinda a stinker.

I can't believe I'm saying this, but old Fatimus is looking pretty good in his new colors.

That Optimus looks simply amazing. Good deco scheme and a nice head retool (plus no mouth). If this gets released at TRU I must have it.

Aww... I thought they were going to use the Optimus without the faceplate. That's what they showed at NYCC

Please no, it'd be like hunting down Omega Sentinels all over again.
