Voyager Fall Of Cybertron Springer & Astrotrain

Wtf? Have we heard about these before this? I just saw this on Facebook.

The question is, is he the Springer we want, or the Springer we deserve?

Odd choice for a voyager. A voyager sized Springer seems out of place in a classics collection. Would have been better if they made Sandstorm instead.

Still, Voyager triple changers. Looks promising, to say the least.

Color me interested, and I am not even a big FOC fan. These FOC Voyager announcements have been solid thus far.

A Springer triple-changer at last!!

Okay, it's from the FoC line instead of the Classics style I was hoping for, but it's easier for me to accept because Springer always had a futuristic look anyway. If the design of the figure looks as good as the concept art, I'm all over it. It's certainly cheaper than Defender at any rate. And Astrotrain too? It's going to have to be damn impressive to displace my Henkei Astrotrain.

Awesome news, love that springer design and was really quite disappointed that it didn't get used in the game. Astrotrain however is as complete unknown, could be pretty cool if it was designed by the same person but I have to be honest. My initial thought was "we already had a classics astrotrain, why not blitzwing this time?"

Really looking forward to toyfair this year. : D

With all the Masterpieces coming our way, bigger versions of Springer and Blitzwing can only be good things.

I will patiently wait for a Sandstorm remould/repaint.

Astrotrain, however, is bought in an instant. It would have to be Airachnid-level bad not to be.

If I was a gambling man, I would sell my Defender now and make a nice profit on the deal.

But I'm a pussy, so I'll wait till i have this Springer in hand before deciding. Hopefully I'll still break even.

Um... What?!?!?! They weren't even in the game, were they?! But despite that, I may get Springer for the multi-continuity Wrecker group I'm going to make but I think I'll pass on Astrotrain. I've never been a fan of train Transformers.

Voyager Astrotrain... anything confirming these actually are triple changers? I see nothing in the description... And the game art of Springer may not be what the figure design actually is. If Astrotrain's a half-decent triple changer he's definitely replacing my classics version! Astrotrain needs to be a bigger con imo .

Springer on the other hand, I'm quite content with Defender as a large deluxe. This new mold will have to be pretty mind blowing for me to bite. Even then I may wait for potential Sandstorm repaint.

Glad they are making these and buying them but I really wish they would make a classics Blitzwing.

I doubt the game version was intended to split him in two. If that ends up being the case, I'd only be interested if it were Battletrap, Flywheels or any other similarly gimmicked character.

The game art looks like the front bumper and windshield of the car and flight mode are fairly similar, so I assume he's intended to be one piece.

Interesting. Definitely out of left field. I didn't even know these two had FoC designs. I can't seem to find any images of Astrotrain's design, so I'm curious to see what he'll look like. Can't say that I'm all that interested in Springer's design, but I'll wait and see how the actual toy looks before giving it too much thought.
