Omega is a cool toy though. I wonder if they'll do it in G1 colors.

As for Optimus...meh. If they do a clear version, I'll be interested. Too bad it's not a box set with Wing Saber a la the God Fire Convoy/Magna Convoy/Sonic Convoy box sets.

Seems a bit random - I can only guess the Energon Prime is to combine with Omega.

I'd imagine Omega will be a G1 inspired recolour. It'll be out of my price range but it might be interesting to see.

I'm expecting unified colors, due to the Optimus Supreme gimmick.

hmmm... either ill be the popular cliche' "g1 repaints" of prime and omega supreme,or they will pull something unexpeted,give energon prime a new noggin and make him "overload" and make omega supreme omega sentinel/guardian robot, i would be surprised big time if ill be the latter.

Also if Omega is sold seperately I'll try to get him but if he comes packaged with Prime than there's no way I'll be able to justify getting him.

I very much hope that Omega Supreme will be in G1 colors and sold separately.

I'd be up for both of those, I never got Energon Omega Supreme and I regret trading off my Energon Prime.

They are allegedly two repaints in the style of the Chinese New Year, like the Year of the Dragon Optimus from last year. I'm thinking they chose these two molds for a few reasons.

1) The Omega Train mode has vague similarities to a snake. Outside of Corhada and Night Viper (and I guess Quickstrike) there aren't exactly many snakes to choose from)

2) If you're going to redeco Omega Supreme, why not redeco his companion piece? The two toys shared a combining gimmick to form "Optimus Supreme" back in Energon.

If Omega lands with a G1-ish paint scheme, I'd definitely be interested, but probably not interested enough for the price they end up sticking on it.

I hope not, I can only imagine how dreadful the colors may be. If this is g1 inspired omega though, this is an instant buy. I'm always amazed how good some of the radicon guys can make this mold look in g1 colors.

Prime's a mystery to me, but will buy because I fucking loved both of those figures as a kid.

I have always regretted never picking up the Omega mold, especially Sentinel. If I can get this one for less than what those guys go for, I'm in.

Omega Supreme is a Massive toy. If you don't own it. Know that Its Bigger than Unicron and will leave your deluxe class Megatrons begging for mercy. Then they will explode.

A new color scheme on Omega may be interesting. maybe some war for cybertron inspired colors with the rusted hue and Red Energon shield readouts.

Energon Optimus is a GREAT toy. Very fun and poseable, once you look past how fat he is. If the colors are good on that, I may pick it up too. I sold mine years ago.

Would love a G1-deco Omega Supreme to display against Hercules/Giant. But a Lunar New Year deco would probably look as weird as the red/gold dragon deco Ultimate Optimus Prime.

YES, goddammit. I still think that should have been one of the TRU-exclusive Ultra-class movie filler repaints back in 2007. It should have taken the spot of one of those other sub-par repaints (Wingblade, whatever that Cybertron Jetfire repaint was called, and the Armada Red Alert repaint).

Anyhow, looking forward to more news on this. I don't own Energon Omega, but I'd be all over it in a G1 deco. Anything else and I'd likely pass, though... too big and ungainly of a toy to bother with if it isn't just right.

yeah! I love Energon Scorponok as is, but I've seen enough digibashes done to convince me the G1 repaint is worth our time.

As for Omega, I've never seen a G1 repaint/digibash I liked over his Energon release, but I'll wait to see.

Oddly intrigued by this. I always was kind of a snob about A/E/C molds, as most of them just aren't that good next to the 2009-era stuff that got me collecting.

However, some of the "G1" repaints of this material have really worked. Unicron, obviously, but I'm also a big fan of Superlink Scorponok, Universe Ratbat, I can almost tolerate Energon Shockblast in some poses, and I even just de-combined FP Bruticus the other day and had a bit of fun with all that.

So I've never handled that Omega, but if this redeco can pass for the G1 Omega at all, seeing as I know the mold is well-reviewed, then I'm intrigued.

But the price had better be right (and I know it probably won't).

A repaint of Omega into G1 colours, perhaps make the head a bit more G1 accurate and i'd be seriously considering a purchase.

Energon Prime can rot in the deepest pits of Jenny Craig though.

Size-wise how does Energon Omega compare to Herc? I didn't get back into collecting until Universe 2.0.
