Generationstoy-Bruticus
TFW2005 Sponsor Robot Kingdom has updated their website with a preorder for the second wave of the upcoming return of Transformers: Generations. This highly awaited second wave will be the mainline/retail debut of the Energon-colored versions of the Fall of Cybertron Combaticons, as well as repacks of two toys from the first wave.

2x Optimus Prime (Carry-over from Wave 1)
1x Jazz
1x Onslaught
1x Swindle
1x Blast-Off
1x Brawl
1x Vortex

Alongside this case reveal, Robot Kingdom has also posted a preorder for the upcoming third wave of the Transformers: Prime Cyberverse Commanders, which is the premiere of the Cyberverse Ultra Magnus, who is packed one per case.

miscreant
They're showing SDCC colors. Misleading.
Thundershot
WHY would they do 2 Primes instead of making a nice even case with Shockwave instead??? Ugh.
rxlthunder
I'm only surprised that they actually considered placing Wave 1 deluxes. Hasbro really needs to learn that people chose to overstock Wave 1.
Laser_Optimus
Nice to know that the second wave will have all the characters needed to make Bruticus. But, why are they using the images of the SDCC exclusive versions? That's a bit misleading to anyone that hasn't been paying attention since the announcement at Botcon.
seekerblackout
Oh goody, two Optimuses. I thought this case ratio was supposed to be something to brag about?
rxlthunder
On the contrast, the Decepticon to Autobot ratios are 7:9, much better than the RID line.
Omnius
All Bruticus members in one wave? Good move Hasbro (and for once, I mean that).
Thundershot
If they had put Shockwave instead of a second Prime, this would be a GREAT case to buy... Ugh.

My thoughts exactly!
MWG
I got a feeling Shockwave is going to be a PITA to find soon after release and hes going to stay that way.

Robogeek28
Hurray, more Prime!!!

The 5 decepticons that make up wave 2 might have something to do with it.

I wouldn't worry about it, Shockwave's 2 to a case in the first wave.
[Wing_Saber-X]
F-out of here! no Shockwave!? :
LegoTFGuy
Wait, there's only ONE of each Combaticon per case?

Hmm, I'm not entirely sure it that's good or bad...

This, and that Optimus Prime's a popular character.

And finally, Blast-Off shares quite a bit of resemblance to Shockwave in his toy colors, with the similarly styled chest and the purple deco. Makes sense to me they'd want to phase out Shockwave to ease confusion.

Not a horrible thing, I'd say.
Kaijumaster
well thats good that they won't be spread out amongst other waves, like Energon did. also good you can get them individually since I want a second Swindle.

Eh, it keeps the playing field level. They'll all be as desirable as one another, no single shortpacked combiner member. They couldn't do two of each as the cases aren't that big, so I think this is better rather than mixed quantities of a group whose selling point is collecting them all.
opt1musaber
Can't get everything $115 not a bad price though.

Agreed. There's no GOOD way to get them out there, but this is the least awful.
Thundershot
As long as BBTS will sell a set of 5 combaticons, we should be good
Soundwinder
... somehow, I read this topic as "Generation 2 Bruticus Wave Announced" for just a split second and got sad.
clonemanager
ALL these Fall Of Cybertron Deluxe Looks too simple in transformation... a Step down in difficulty but pricing remains at current deluxe high end range.... Indeed these looks just like Scout class...
Exodus
They need to dump OP out of the Cyberverse wave and stock more UM and DW.
Brawlastator
ehhh, I'm kinda split about this set

On one hand, I really want a Swindle and I don't mind the doofy colors. On the other, I'm not too fond of the idea of it being a combiner chunk since those guys usually end up being bad standalone toys. Guess we'll wait and see.
Bountyan
I have no problem with the lack of Shockwave in this wave. There's two in wave 1 and wave 1 usually gets the most distribution. It should be easy to find him.

I think I'll pass on all the Combaticons. Those colors just don't do it for me.

It will probably be just as cheap to buy a case. They don't want to get stuck with a ton of Prime or Jazz.

SERIOUSLY!!!! Talk about not making it very easy on us! I'm still interested in buying the case and finding shockwave on the shelf and returning one of the OP's from the case for the Shockwave receipt...

the price break down with shipping and insurance to USA is about $19 per figure... not sure if i should just hun them down or fuck it and save the tank of gas.
Burnout
Ya know while i hate the fact the the regular release bruticus is more of an homage to the color scheme of the terrible energon bruticus I still like it. Granted it'd be nice to have the properly colored one (hasbro has their schemes all assbackwards...should get normal one for retail release and energon colored one for sdcc)I still cant wait to have this SOB on my shelf next to my TFC Devestator (greatest combiner EVER!!!)
Shark Jumper
Why bring back Jazz and Optimus? Shockwave only gets one in the first wave.

it's 3 OP, 3 Jazz, and 2 Shockwave in Case 1.
Autobot Burnout
Well, on the bright side Bruticus will have even distribution, I didn't have the "joy" of the Energon days of having an incomplete combiner set, and I certainly don't want to have to worry about tracking them down (I'm having enough problems with finding one bloody Deluxe Vehicon at retail).

Still meh on Prime, and Jazz just looks bad with his bulky upper body but stick-thin legs.
Rotorstorm
Shame Prime has two cases instead of a shockwave but with 5 cons already it's understandable.
Fallout
wait, so the bruticus members are confirmed as being separately packaged, and the SDCC one is a box set?
FanimusMaximus
Wait, so the Combaticons are gonna be sold separately?

Well this is gonna make things hard on us.

yup.

i feel like this is old news....
Girl Pants
I don't care who (even Magnus would work), but I'd rather we get 8 different characters in a case just so i get no doubles. I know that's a lot to ask. I should just be happy that the Combaticons are not getting shortpacked/split-waved.
Acidophilus
Looks like Optimus will be warming the pegs.

Three primes per case in wave one, and two per case in wave two, but only two Shockwaves per case in wave one, and none in wave two. It seems Shockwave is going to be the least available figure, at least for a while. I hope it's not too hard to find.

i just wasn't sure if it ever got confirmed.
phoenix88
Might try and get SDCC bruticus, otherwise, i'm waiting until reviews to get the actual bots, if i do at all. As for this actual cas assortment, i'm actually really happy i have the case form wave 1 of Prime, Jazz and Shockwave pre-ordered.
adamthered
Hopefully Wave 3 will start with non FOC Generations. Until then my TF drought will continue.
Sumner Sturgeon
It is a little disquieting to see extra Primes in the case assortment, but in light of the fact that all 5 Bruticus components are also present, and packed evenly at that (instead of something weird like two Onslaughts), I think this is probably okay by me. It's silly, for sure, but mild compared to the INSANE overpacking of Bumblebee we got in the Prime line.
Omegax80
With costs at retail going up... I think by now buying a case from either RK, Entertainment Earth, or BBTS is just about the same as picking up from TRU. Does that sound about right?

The other question... is it worth it wait for them to pop-up on HTS?
Lord Of Tetris
Was anyone expecting, like, 5 Swindles, 5 Vortexes, and 1 Onslaught per case?
Ratchets Hatch
Oh, sweet! Commander Dreadwing gets carried over to Wave 3. And Starscream gets a repack. That's good.

Seems like Hasbro is finally starting to get a clue about case assortments.
