Guess this confirms that Blitzwing has a face-change gimmick, since that's a different appearance than the toy showed in the ToyFair display pictures.

Definitely getting Metroplex (amazing figure), Blitzwing, Springer and Trailcutter. Pass on the rest.

Anyone else think Blitzwing's jet mode looks a bit like an Alpha Fighter from Robotech? It's really growing on me.

That Megatron deserves a Voyager mold at least!

I was expecting the Legends Bee to have the WFC alt-mode. I might still pick him up, but I can't help but feel a tad let down.

that yellow on Springer looked much less...bad in the toyfair pics....ew.

I'm so happy to be finally getting Trailbreaker. He looks good, too... the headsculpt has a lot of personality, and the alt mode is nice and beefy. Orion Pax looks nice too. Those plus Metroplex and (on the MOTUC side) Mantenna make this Toy Fair a giant win in my book.

Based on these pictures, Hasbro has really knocked it out of the park!

So blitzwing does have a face change gimmick, also did anyone notice blitzwing looks like flywheels from mtmte? I hope that blitzwing get's recolored into him.

These guys look pretty good. Blitzwing has a face switch gimmick for those who want G1 and those who like the Animated look. Question is if we get a crazy face. Otherwise he looks a little stocky. Springer looks really slick in robot mode. Shame he looks like his legs might be a little shrimpy.

Still this is the best effort out of Hasbro for a long while. Third Parties and Hasbro are upping the game, which means everyone wins.

those look decent. how big are they? ill probably get blitzwing, but i really need a masterpiece scale to fit in my collection.

but i dont need a springer and defender looks better than that.

I swore I saw one that looked like the animated version and now I see a more G1 like face. Any confirmation on this?

Glad to see the official photos on Generations Blitzwing now. From the photos at Toy Fair I thought we were about to have a repeat of the nosecone issue from the G1 seekers. Thankfully though it was just a mistransformation!

Okay, got that out of the way. Am I the only one who's disappointed Metroplex's base mode is just him spread eagle? I've always really disliked that transformation and was yearning for this Classics version to give him a better base mode...

Oh also, I want that Blitzwing repainted as Overlord.

I'm 99% sure he does. The way they designed the neck area of the head it looks like you can rotate it.

Oh man, Trailcutter and Springer are super bought. So effing nice! I'm back, baby!

I seriously just read the Spotlight Megatron preview yesterday and said "wow, that design looks awesome. They should make that into a toy."

Well color my pencils.

Man, both those Voyagers are amazing. Also, I am loving that Legends Optimus. Metroplex is great too, but something that big and expensive will have to wait a little bit.


Overall, though, Hasbro is definitely bringing their A game this year.

I was just trying to imagine a repaint of Blitzwing as a valkyrie/hovertank mixup in the Robotech universe. But as Overlord...this is the best idea ever.

Man my wallet is screaming in pain. Yet I am happy as I mainly collect Classics / Generations.

I will be damn surprised if that Bumblebee doesn't get a Windcharger Remold.

Blitzwing looks cool. However, I've decided to focus on MPs strictly. If I were still collecting chug scale he would be a definite purchase. Now PLEASE...PLEASE, give us an MP scaled Blitzwing!!!

I love the IDW Megatron, but unless I take Orion Pax to be Prime it seems I'll never get a scale Prime and Megatron. Love them anyway, but here's hoping he's a BIG deluxe. Yeah right.
