Amazon.com listed the Transformers Generations Combiner Wars Voyager figures as IN STOCK, being sold by Amazon directly, as of earlier today. Currently they are reading as in stock on December 20th (3 days from now).
Transformers Generations Combiner Wars Voyager Class Silverbolt
Transformers Generations Combiner Wars Voyager Class Optimus Prime
They also had the new Legends in stock:
Transformers Generations Legends Class Powerglide
Transformers Generations Legends Class Windcharger
Transformers Generations Legends Class Thundercracker
Transformers Generations Legends Class Bombshell
But, they have since dropped to a 3rd party seller with a later release date. It may be worth it for those interested to keep an eye on those pages over the next days and weeks, as Amazon will update with their own stock and mark as in-stock without notice, sell out, and revert back to 3rd party pre-orders, again without notice.
Stay tuned for TFW2005’s galleries for these guys, coming soon!

tcp literally explained why prices are so high on their amazon. they paid out their ass to get it out earlier and to make any profit they have to raise their selling price. yeah, i know this is a crazy thought, having to sacrifice money so you can get tour precious plastic crack a month early but you can't have your cake and eat it too. this isn't white knighting, this is the real world, buster.

As I've said, everyone is entitled to their opinion. You omitted "snipping" that part. Just chill out with the rage, everytime something new comes out, this always happens. Might as well regurgitate the thread about every wave of Generations, or Legends, or Botcon, or SDCC…
Welcome to the internet, where short-term memory stops five-minutes into our own pasts and rage is the hottest trend we're all sick of.
In summation:

NOPE that is the pirate flag from botcon 2014.
I'm tired of idiots /people/ apologists that seem to need to remind the world that ALL IS COOL CAUSE I JUST EXPLAINED IT.
people can hero worship that seller all they want….It's still a dick move to scalp prices like that,
MY OPINION.
so folks can agree or not…but that noob from earlier telling me to chill cause he just got done explaining it in detail.
well fuck it…piss off….just like i told him he can play white knight somewhere else.

I'm so glad to be a Prime member right now

Yep, I preordered Silverbolt from Amazon and he has already shipped.
Omegax80
Just putting it out there, Waspinator is still available on HTS in case anyone didn't see it.

But that's just it. People don't. People buy and buy, and complain while the do it, acting like they have no choice. There is ALWAYS a choice.
Annoying as it is, a company can do what they want. A company can provide great customer service, but at times comes a higher cost. Can't win them all.
Your sig is a Knights sig, right? Not sure if that was intentional…
Look, what one person calls scalping is what another person does to make a few dollars. Does it make it "right" or "wrong", neither.
Pointing out the prices are inflated or overpriced or scalping doesn't make any difference at all. If it doesn't sell, the seller drops price as to not sit on unwanted inventory. Detailing reasons for why his prices are higher does not make it mean that is suddenly is acceptable, but it's simply his explanation for WHY his prices are what they are.
Again, doesn't mean you can't call him a price-gouger or whatever, it's the right of all to voice their opinions.
Are the prices fair to the buyers, probably not, but from the looks of it, hasn't stopped anyone from buying.
flatline72
chill, my ass.
I have every right to call this by how i see it…..scalping, price gouging.
I don't give 2 shits on a shingle that you just "laid out all the reasons in great detail"
shove off and go play white knight for someone else.
daddytron
I think this is a class move all the way to personally address this on here. I signed up and ordered a bunch of stuff from your store for my kids this Christmas and I have been nothing but pleased as to the service and the prices. You have a great operation going.
worldsgreatest
Uh, dude just laid out (in detail) why the prices were higher. Chill?
flatline72
agreed.
It is a tad bit fucking annoying however that members on this very board were singing laurels about the superb prices and customer service and then TCP goes off and does this crap on amazon.
another site i will not patronize….i hate shit like this.

I applaud your effort sir. Thank you for taking your time to offer the explanation. Hope your offerings will brighten someone's Christmas out there.
If only this other Amazon seller, "America Collectible", is willing to offer the same transparency on their listing.

Something was bound to boil over in the on-line retail world here eventually. There is so much frustration over so many years of the sheer incompetence of brick and mortar stores buying practices mixed with Hasbro's inability to regulate case assortments.
More open communication from all the online retailers to the buyers would go a long way to ease tensions probably.. after all.. you can only look at toy listings on websites of items with equal distribution in cases and see 15-20% mark ups due to "perceived popularity" so many times before it starts grating on your nerves.
I will clarify myself a little since I've probably been barking the most here and I did meet some of your staff at TFCon Chicago and they were really nice. I'm not trying to rag on your company and I think I'll just back out of this conversation/thread since I might be misdirecting said frustrations.
And that fact did slip my mind. The never seeing things again.

It's actually just Brandon after he gets done with his regular 9 to 5. TCP is a one man operation and still provides awesome customer service.

If I didn't think so low of these figures I'd definitely go up on that offer. I don't know why people would bitch out a store without having taking most of these things into account in the first place. Especially since the "we" in TCP is probably a ridiculously small fraction compared to the amount of BBTS employees or other retailers. And the store is pretty new.
This. Skids and Waspinator actually gave me a scare for once. I got lucky with the Ruination guys (came across them all on shelf one day on the way home from work because the light was red and I decided to turn into Target) but those are the only other guys I've only seen on shelves once. Hell, I never actually saw Skids and Waspinator on shelves, all I saw was Dreadwing. I didn't get Skids and Waspinator for months and seriously debated on paying $30 for each.
PlanckEpoch
Well to be fair about Wasps and Skids, they were legitimately scarce and hard to find. I think I only ever saw 2 Skids out in the wild and maybe 3-4 Waspinators. No one knew Hasbro was gonna re-release the wave until they did, and even then I haven't seen the wave at all the last time I saw them. I think the rush to get those guys was pretty justified myself.
Omegax80
Yep. This is going to be everywhere after the new year begins. I am astonished by all the insanity going on here. It's our own damn fault. Can't blame sellers for hiking prices people are clearly willing to pay. $32 for deluxe Arcee? Same story ie: Waspinator and Skids. Give it a month.
well, for eBay you can't fault the sellers, it's the buyers who either bid it up or just impulsively hit Buy it Now.
Lots of people died. Their are gods for everything. Did you take Roman or Greek history?
And, NO. People are not allowed to do what they want with their money. Geez, haven't you been reading this thread at all??
Clearly no one is paying attention. Lots of people died. Angels are losing wings. Demons' horns are falling out. We're doomed.
Seriously though, it's been said before, people "gotta have it NOW NOW NOW" and are too afraid of a situation where once it sells out, it's all over. Yes, it has happened in the past (RTS Windcharger, Universe Legends 2.0) but eventually they become available at a later time, either on HTS, at TRU, Walmart, or even Five Below.
Combiner Wars is a main-line release, not a single-store exclusive. If people have the bank to shell out more to have it now, that's what they want to do.
People who complain about current prices? Not much more I can say. As long as they are massively sought after, it's no different than listing a Botcon 2006 set vs. a Botcon 2013 set. It's all about demand. Right now, there is huge demand. Give it a couple months, and balance will be restored, the Earth will right itself and maybe a few angels will get their wings back.
See, TCP is being very much upfront when he doesn't have to be, you don't see other retailers explaining their sales formulas. The guy shouldn't be put on trial here, it's his business, he does what he has to. But kudos for stepping up.
Chosen Prime
Guys, let me first apologize for handling this situation in any way that did not seem above board. Our intensions were certainly never malicious. We posted them to our Amazon store only for one reason only, we did not have time to create multiple listings on our website as it was a last minute decision to buy the figures at all and in this busy holiday season time did not allow me to do everything I would have liked to.
I know not everyone will read this and some will overlook it as an excuse and ignore the facts, but I feel the need to lay them out in an effort to remain transparent and honest for the sake of those who care to listen, so here they are.
1. We are not the size of BBTS and do NOT have a direct account with Hasbro, therefore our buying power and place on the totem pole is far below theirs. This creates some very large disadvantages for us such as these.
A. We get items second or in some cases third hand, which means everyone is getting their take before we ever see a price offering for the figures.
B. We don't have the buying power, therefore we pay more for these figures automatically, just like any Hasbro items we carry.
C. Our freight costs are much higher due to a smaller volume account, which in the case of international air freight us a huge amount per figure.
Now to address the cost of the figures via Amazon, here is the breakdown, which is a universal formula we used axis the board except for the voyagers, which were proceed differently based on demand and a shortage of Silverbolt.
Cost + $9.16/piece freight + 15% (amazon fees) + our standard margin (which is much less than other retailers due to the reasons outlined above).
Hopefully this clarifies things, but as a last note, I will gladly offer these figures to anyone who wants them early for 15% less outside of Amazon and ship them for free in the US.
If anyone has any additional questions feel free to PM me as we are an open book as always!
Thank you,
Brandon
