So the entire team is repaints of the Stunticons..

Oh yeah there is without a doubt in my mind, this is going to be used for Sunstreaker. I already thought so but this truly cements it.
payres
So you did! I had a look and didn't see it, sorry.
down_shift
Ah, here it is.
down_shift
Oh I know. If you look a few pages back I have a pic of him with the F/F weapon pegged into the spoiler.

Some photos:
Usual mounting using the 5mm peg and hole
Mounting using the tab and slot in spoiler

I hope so.
I would only get a Sunstreaker if they released his bro Swipe as well.

More Sunstreaker evidence: if you look at the first in hand gallery at ??????????? Combiner Wars Deluxe Wave 2: BREAKDOWN – [??]Universe / Classic / Generation / WFC / UN – Transformers Never Die – Powered by Discuz! it shows the combined mode cannon mounted on the roof of the vehicle using the peg hole and 5mm peg on the weapon. But the cannon actually attaches the other way up and further back as the supercharger: there's a tab on the thumb that pegs into the rear of the spoiler positioning the square barrels on the roof of the car.
Basilisk
Actually on second thoughts I'll probably pass up CW Prowl, I'd like Prowl to actually have feet.

Streetwise's figure heavily uses red in the robot mode and blue in the car mode.
Change the colour balance a bit by swapping the blue paint for black and red plastic for black, then give him a new head and maybe a new chest and he'd make quite a decent Prowl
Autovolt 127
Well that's the thing Streetwise and Dead End have far different deco schemes and headscuplts, at first I didn't even realize it was the same mold.
but First Aid and Ratchet have similar deco schemes, the only real difference is a different head style.
Yeah maybe I am worry too much.
Fair Enough.
WilyMech
Yeah they used bots for to fake the Cons out. MotorMaster = Optimus Prime, Dragstrip = Mirage, Jazz = Dead End, Sideswipe = Breakdown, Windcharger =Wildrider
Darkstone
Masquerade.
omegamagnus
which episode in the G1 2nd season show Prime and 4 bots posing as the Stunticons to uncover Megatron's new odd plan? i really can't recall, just remember there was a giant gun or other…..
BidoofdudeofOz
If they retooled the chest to look even a little like Sunstreaker's, like they did with Streetwise, I'd be totally up for that. They may as well give us a Sideswipe too so we can match them. Just give him a different retooled chest.
down_shift
Come on. Totally Sunstreaker!
The foot/fist was fully designed with Sunstreaker in mind. So was Breakdown for that matter. It's designed to store on his back thusly.
Cal
But it doesn't beat this beautiful piece of plastic. I love my Henkei Ironhide.
General Magnus
I don´t have the original Ratchet mold, so being redundant is not an issue for me.
Basilisk
They don't even have the trademark to Jazz, he's always called Autobot Jazz.
(Though I'm not complaining about him being used more often)
Any new CW Ironhide beats this ugly piece of shit
Autobot Burnout
I'm almost disappointed that they didn't actually make that toy a Hi-Q homage instead for the full Powermaster Prime homage attempt.
Hey, be thankful it's not like Energon where the combining made the individual Autobots be considered good if they weren't lacking any basic articulation *cough*HotShot*cough*
Um, isn't the only Generations-branded version of Bumblebee that resembles a Camaro the IDW one from a while back? He's been a hatchback in the legends, WFC, and even Animated lines since 2009 otherwise.
Was anybody in Alternators besides Hound and Tracks actually true to their G1 alt. mode?
Actually, blame Bumblebee for being the yellow kid appeal character. God help Hasbro should they think selling another yellow car at the same time as Bumblebee is viable, etc. etc.
You do know that if Hasbro doesn't keep using certain names constantly, they lose the trademark, right? Like, they didn't regain Bumblebee as a name – due to some child swingset having grabbed it in the 90's – until 2006 for the original movie release date, when the movie got pushed back, the first Bumblebee toy since the mid-80's was then Classics Bumblebee.
For common-use names like "Sideswipe" and "Jazz" it's harder to claim dibs on them than nonsense names like "Sunstreaker".
This is the same mold as Dead End
You can tell on Streetwise's figure that the grille of the car is significantly different from that of Dead End, along with the head, legs, and a good number of other details.
Remember; this is the same company that used the same base figure for Springer and Sandstorm, and the same pair of legs for Air Raid and Slingshot.
I don't think you need to worry too much.
