Ok, so it's supposed to represent Combat Hero Prime and G2 Jazz. If the club were doing it, he'd be a lot more g2 accurate, I'd wager. Beggars can't be choosers, I guess.

If the Club were doing it it would look 10X better and be a 50 page thread on how much the figures and the club suck and why does more paint & Lower production run = more cost.

Jazz looks alright, but different enough from my actual G2 Jazz (I picked up the Reprolabels set for my RtS Jazz) to justify keeping this.

Optimus looks alright, though a little plain.

This set only makes me regret picking up the EZ Chronicle Thundercracker that I snagged a while back, since this one comes with the additional launchers. Oh well, but still cool for those that missed out on the EZ release.

Not sure about where this exclusive pack will eventually end up but I am happy to have a preorder before they sold out.

They really should have given Jazz the G2 logo like they gave Prime though. I mean, he's a blatant, MASSIVE homage to the G2 deco, even if he isn't exactly the same.

For $40 or less this is pretty awesome G2 repaints.

How am I to know unless you give us a source link, though? Regardless as a retailer I believe you will find BBTS received them from Hasbro through channels not available to the Facebook group.

No, if the club were doing it, they'd have Legends SG Optimus Prime and Legends AM/SG Thundercracker instead of Motormaster and Thundercracker.

Did anybody ask? Sorry if I missed it. All I said was that I got the pics from another source. After posting the pics, I then noticed that BBTS had a link for the items, but were showing out of stock. So, either they ran out of it way before or it was just a placeholder and just turned it on just today for pre-orders.


Also, this will eventually end up at Walmart since this is supposed to be exclusive to that store. Most likely much less than BBTS's price.

Yeah, it's actually a redeco that was never released in G2. It looks pretty faithful to the deco too, aside from being a "Laser Prime" generations mold. Still, pretty cool and I'm gonna pick one up for sure!

Well, Animated Stealth Lockdown and Rescue Ratchet did come with two Animated Legends toys each, so it's not unprecedented. I don't think this gift set is meant to capture a sense of scale at all, it's just some extra toys randomly thrown in.

Preordered. Not sure why, but I like the decos. I'll probably have to remove some of those paint apps, like the giant "JAZZ" deco on the spoiler and the huge G2 insignias on OP's doors.

More Battle Tanker fodder! For $40 that's tough to beat. At $15 a piece for Deluxes and $5 for legends in retail stores +tax, it's cheaper than retail.

It's that JAZZ, man.

Despite its well-known flaws, every time I get a new version of that mold in-hand I'm just deliriously happy. Like with Cyclonus...I got the Universe version, the boxset version, AND Strafe.

And I can't be the only one, there have been no shortage of collector-oriented releases of the mold.

He's smart giftset fodder though seeing as how his original release might as well have not even happened from a kids/parents perspective.
