It looks like Megatron is working for the Joker to me.

Hee hee. The legs look very funny with the Megatron head. Not a bad mold choice, but the G1 head looks a little off on the Bayverse body. I had the same issue with GDO Springer. Still a good figure though.

Those are some bright colors... The head mold looks fantastic, though. It really does. It's a shame he's just a mere head remold and redeco. Those swords could've been modified to be cannons and stuff, so he'd be more like his G2 self.

As is, it seems like Bludgeon playing The Joker playing Megatron for Halloween.

Easy pass. I love that mold, but not as Megatron. The head just doesn't match that body at all.

Maybe I didn't pay close enough attention to this toy when I saw the boxed version at SDCC...but that smirk/facial expression is not sitting well with me.

Yup, I'm now having a problem with this figure, largely because of the head. Looks like I may be sticking to Hot Spot and Powerdive among the Voyagers. Maybe I'll change my mind when I see it in person but...yeah that head is suddenly not working for me at all on that body.

The head actually looks like it was made fir this mold as opposed to cliffjumper and springer which look like very poor head swaps. It does however look a little cartoony...

He will make a fine BWII Megastorm!

That is certainly an interesting look. Have no interest personally, but have to admit to a very intriguing style.

On another note, while I can definitely see the G2 homage, am I the only one who thinks the head on this also looks weirdly like the CG version of G1 Megatron's face from Beast Wars?

I agree, the head is very nice, but I also agree in that this body just doesn't quite work, my biggest complaint being the giant G1 Decepticon symbols on this G2 toy.

I'll go with the general "nice head sculpt poorly matched with the body" sentiment. Kinda looks like if someone tried to make an Andrew Wildman art-inspired toy.

Well, the idea was in the right place (I don't think we have that many voyager tanks to work with), but I really don't like the reuse of bludgeon's toy. So much was deliberately shooting for skeleton warrior in his design that all the reuses that come off weird to me. And even then, Headrobots had to unsuck the head sculpt and weapons. Maybe if they bothered to retool the chestplate I'd find it more palitable

I'm loving the smirk. It really invokes the psychotic grinning Megatron of Generation Two from the comics.

eh, glad I'm not inclined to picking up more GDO figs, and this Megs is a total pass as well. IMHO Takara/ Hasbro should've gone with the G2 Purple camo scheme instead. so no sale for me I'm afraid.

If they'd just fix the damn chicken feet then this mold would have so little issue. I hope this hits stateside. Want more G2 goodness.

whats going on with the poorly placed messy looking faction symbol in alt mode? think it would have been better sticking that on the side of the gun turret

I can't explain why, but I really want this. Part of me thinks it's absolutely atrocious... BUT, this mold is one of my absolutely favorite molds (moveiverse or otherwise) AND I've always dug G2 Megatron. But again, the choice of this mold isn't a very good, nor accurate one for a G2 Megatron homage... BUT, I love the look... Damn, I guess it will come down to (hopefully) seeing it in-store for me to be able to officially decide!

i like the bright colours, heads a bit odd on that body but overall i like the sculpt, the transformation is interesting which is my favourite aspect of this mould.

I had my doubts, but after seeing the close-ups, this is a 100% buy. Hell, I'll trade my ROTF Bludgeon for it.

Are we seeing these stateside or is this one staying overseas?
