Our sponsors Robot Kingdom have put up preorders for the Generations GDO Cyber Series. These 8 and 11-inch tall Transformers take the “big, simplified Cyberverse style toys” concept initially trialled on the final assortments of the Transformers Prime Beast Hunters line, and applies it to the likes of Generation 1 styled Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Starscream, Megatron and Grimlock (who, coincidentally, are the five toys in the 8-inch “Battalion” series, there’s also the 11-inch “Commander” series that has Optimus Prime and Bumblebee, using different designs to the smaller ones).
This series is out now in emerging markets such as Latin America, but now via our sponsors you can get a piece of the action!

I want that Megatron for my sons. One of the toys at my in-laws place is an Armada Galvatron, this Megatron would be a perfect counterpart for him so they could each have a tank Transformer to rumble around the house with.

So are we finally getting a voyager g1 starscream? Although simplified
Flash1087
I can't lie, I really want that Commander Optimus. It looks pretty awesome and I think it'll scale a bit better as a CHUG. This is pretty tempting…
Thundershot
They're very simple with a low parts count.
NemiMonkey
$14 bucks for a voyager sized fig? That seems off. Unless I'm getting my sizes wrong.
Autovolt 127
Watch out Optimus and BB….Jason's behind you!

For the one that missed my pics for the 11inchs.
I found the 11 inch when I was Brazil. Great toys, apart no knees. They are big.
For sure I'll try to get the 8 inchs.

What size are these? No info on tfwiki yet?

1000 times this. I'd never, ever buy a kid a Titan figure. These, i'd totally get for the younger set.
i know right? everything else is at least "G1-ish", i wonder why they went a different route with him (or if they WERE going a different route, why wouldn't they go RID'15 since that's what he's based on…)

And the Beast Hunter blown up figures had articulation changes. Btn. Optimus is the Legion Optimus, BB is the Prime/BH legion BB. Engineering wise anyway, this BB is IDW ish and not Prime.
wearelegion69
I dont think so. The Legion Starscream from RTS had knees, this one doesnt.

Watch the movie again. Grimlock is copper coloured, it's just oxidized and worn off. Really all the Dinobots were in the toy colours, just worn and faded out.
Take another looks at the battalion ones. They're blown up legion (legend in the case of Starscream) figures. Save the actual new figures of Megatron and Grimlock.
Extrazero
I really want to know their fascination with making a shit ton of Grimlocks in a movie color scheme that wasn't even in the movie…
Hiro Prime
Well if I were to say something nice about them, it'd be that they are a major step up from the Titan figures.
Personally, I'm hoping Hasbro shrinks them down to Legend/Commander size at some point. I'm thinking they'd look much better and and be more fun to fiddle with for kids.
Feralstorm
I'm interested in Megatron, but that's probably all.
Still wondering if these will be made available in the US at all. (for all the shit these toys catch from people who might never be part of the target market) At least these 'cheap' toys are legitimately significantly less expensive than similarly sized mainline toys … not counting shipping.
Olymprix
I'm still a little salty that it looks like Starscream doesn't have knees…

I'd totally get my daughter a Bumblebee, but both those designs are pretty "meh"
Shin Densetsu
These haven't even hit Asia yet, they hit Brazil first.
It's catered towards emerging markets so whichever country wants it will probably get it. Over here, I can see this being sold by Big Lots or something.
Thundershot
Wait… GDO? Does that mean these are Asia exclusive unless brought over by TRU?
Robogeek28
I still want that Megatron.
Hopefully some U.S stores will get these in.
