Generations GDO Brawn Official Images

While the fate of the Transformers Generations GDO Brawn - a reuse of the Prime First Edition Voyager Bulkhead mold with a new head - is still unknown, it might interest you to know that a pair of images popped up on the 78dm BBS by spyder.

These images are not proof positive that Brawn is still getting released though, as they are previously unreleased official images of Brawn that have been composited together, possible for a catalog. Time will tell what actually becomes of all this.

there is something about it, idk, the head just doesn't quite look like it fits the body. lol

i think brawn would look better with the beast hunters mold, personally.

It's still the fe mold so no matter how weird it still would be a solid toy.
I dunno I like goofy looking TF's though so I would have picked this up if it did get released.

Look at the Deluxes and Scouts. Odd variations was the name of the game in GDO.

I'm surprised he's not labeled "Pinhead Brawn" on his box. That head sculpt looks nice but it doesn't seem to scale well with the rest of the body =P

Yeah, I loved most of the GDOs but this one just doesn't work. It's a great head mold, and a fantastic base figure, but the both just don't mesh together.

Looks REALLY weird, but then again, I thought the same thing about GDO Cliffjumper at first, and I got used to it, and even have it as my Classics Cliffy.

Well one upside of toys r us getting a new voyager case asortment would be more hot spot.

I would buy the brawn just because the mold is good. It's got sort of an Apex armor vibe to it like brawn is just a minibot in a exosuit.

Part of me wants to see this released so I could get him and display him with the rest of my non-Cyberverse Autobots, but another part of me would rather get the Deluxe Bulkhead and call that Brawn. Colors are more Roadbustery, but it could still work as Brawn. I don't mind the small head on this guy, but my Autobot shelf is getting a bit cramped as it is, so a Deluxe would be easier to squeeze in there than another Voyager.

Whoever made the decision not to put this in the GDO line made a good call. Give that guy a pat on the back and a high five. This is one cancelled figure I'm ok with not getting.

Great mold. Great head. Just not together like that. Looks terrible with the lime green colors and the foreign head.

Roadbuster would have been a better use of the mold for this guy.

You do know that, last we knew, the release of this figure had been canceled...right? Even if it does get released, it'll be a TRU exclusive like all the other "GDO" releases. Meaning it won't stop Hasbro from releasing the "real" Brawn you so desperately want.

For some reason Brawns head looks bigger than Bulkheads, but compared to the body, it looks too small... As someone already mentioned, Bulkhead looks, well bulky and muscular, but Brawn looks fat. Strange. Lastly, that head always makes me think Megatron, not Brawn.

All that negative criticism aside, I'd probably still buy it had TRU picked it up with the rest of the holiday exclusives
