Very cool. If I can't get the SDCC version for a decent price, this saves me the trouble of getting them on their own. Also, the colors are not based on the G2 version, this is the G2 version: http://img804.imageshack.us/img804/9416/g2bruticus.gif
By all that is sacred I will have a FOC Bruticus painted in those colours, even if I have to do it myself!

I would absolutely buy a G2 Bruticus, even though I would never buy the Energon version. This fills me with false hope that the retail version will be closer to the in-game version, and the brightly colored version is Amazon exclusive.

*Looks at G2 Bruticus* *Looks at pictures of Energon FoC Bruticus from Botcon, with even brighter green plastic* Uh, yeah, we've come a long way.
Here's the picture I took with my $89 Kodak -no flash. There's certain to be better pictures on the board here somewhere. http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/attach...1&d=1336157493
First awesome picture I've ever seen of this thing. I don't know why Hasbro keeps using that oddly proportioned shot for all their promos where it looks like the camera is below the figure.

Yeah, it's like they're trying to make it look like he's a giant and he's towering over you, but the angle, the bright colors, and the Photoshop all detract from the toy. It's sad that my picture with my crappy camera looks better. You can actually see that Bruticus' face is pretty cool looking.
Honestly, Hasbro needs to reach out to the community, some of whom take some amazing shots in great poses, and just straight up hire them. Whoever they've got taking the photos now does a horrible, horrible job. Sorry for whoever's job that is, but it's just now we're finally getting a good picture of this guy? That figure even looks transformed properly there, the arms don't look so separated from the body like you see in those promotional images too. That picture made me go from "Figure looks like crap, I'll stick to FP Bruticus" to "Wow, I think I'll pick one up."

Then drink up! Drink that sweet Ambrosia! This is a pretty good way to get the set - I'd love for the giftbox to be a throwback to the style of the G1 combiner giftboxes, but chances are it'll be the same basic style as the SDCC one. That seems to be the way for Combiners to be released as a set just now, looking at that and Piranacon.
I want an old school type of box with all sic tech specs on the back!
