Third time round for a mold repainted/retooled and then shoehorned into the line as Springer.

i nabbed a swerve for decent price on ebay...the others ones just aren't good enough to import

No they don't. They made a new triple changer Octane before they made a new triple changer Springer.

Botcon released a G1 Springer from Cybertron Cybertron Defense Hot Shot, then Hasbro released a Springer from Cybertron Evac and now Hasbro Asia are releasing a Springer from Tomahawk.

But now we're seeing a Kreon Springer. So maybe someone at Hasbro is trying to push new Springer toys.

Now with Soundwave/Soundblaster opening up the Voyager slot again they have a perfect opportunity.

Then they can finally stop treating poor Springer like a bitch.

Only listings I see on these now are people selling for four figures for $125. So over $30 a figure, before shipping. Sigh. I think I'll bide my time a little longer. For all the scorn these guys receive, they are a bit of an adventure to get ahold of for those of us who want them.

Aw man. At first I thought "What? Swerve?" but then I realized it's just Kup with a new head. I hoped it was MTMTE Swerve. So FAIL.

Uhm Springer? Like a Knock-Off. Doesn't fit Generations or Classics at all and is NO worthy Springer. AGAIN. So another FAIL.

Cliffjumper. I thought it might work, but seeing it in real life... nope.

At least those are not real official toys, but exclusive ones.

Add me to the list of people holding out for an MTMTE Swerve. I've already got Springer on preorder with Kapow and I'd love Wheelie but he's going to be rare as hen's teeth.

It would be cool if these showed up at Dollar General like those GI Joes that were in the Phillipines only for a month or so. People were buying the 6 pack for $200 and still are paying around $80-$100 and they are in the States now.

Speaking of which Hasbro would not that even acknowledge they existed until they had them on Display at SDCC 2012. Any emails to their customer service line or emails sent in were given a "We Don't know Answer".

Damn. I only want Swerve and Wheelie.

I got the above email as well and am pretty damn conflicted. :-/

I sent an email back asking that they split the order and retain my voyager preorder. The voyagers are a higher priority to me than the deluxes.

When/where did BBTS say that they aren't getting these? I've got a set of 4 on order from a different store, but was hoping they would get the voyagers as I missed out on those at RK. I really want a Hot Spot.

I'm guessing BBTS not getting these means they won't get the leader redecos either.

Bleh I don't think I want Springer anymore. Swerve is still an option, though I think I may just wait for a possible iGear one.

Because he's short packed and only being sold in a set while the other extras are being sold individually.

I really like that Springer, but that may be because I love Tomahawk's mold a lot.

The new heads are actually all pretty good. Swerve of course isn't exactly MTMTE Swerve, but you can imagine a visor snapping down over that slot in his helmet, and the red, gray, and black scheme is both accurate and attractive. Springer's head is Springer's head, which really sets it off from the Evac redeco I have now, though unfortunately it sits a little high up and has a tiny "neck". I could probably nitpick CJ's head but overall I like the concept of the figure and what they've done with it. I think that with that head it would look great with some Earth-mode classics!

Ugh, you made me notice his neck... even so, I still like it as Springer, it somehow... works. The sword is an extra nice detail, and I think he's way more "Springey" than the fansproject version (was it defender? I forgot). Also I really dig his expression on the box art.

At first I just thought they used the exact same head from the WfC Cliffjumper and put it on the Prime FE mold. Though I agree, it has its charm.

Well, you never know. There is a possibility that they could end up over here in Special packs. Probably similar to how the Rodimus and Cyclonus form the Challenge at Cybertron set (Asia Exclusive) were brought over to the US and sold as an RTS 2-pack.
