Could as easily be a custom from that pic. However it's a damn shame if it is the final and the missile is the same as Inferno's. Hot Spot's trademark weapon is a flamethrower, so just making the missile red translucent plastic would have been a killer way to represent that.

so that's like what- summin like the fifth use of the mould so far?! Lets do a roll-call: 1. Classics Inferno 2. Henkei Inferno 3. RTS/ United Grapple 4. Millionhero exclusive Artfire 5. and now Hotspot!
Me either, they keep pumping em out, I'll keep buying them. Just gotta decide how many need the TFC upgrade ladder. Got a second one for Artfire, but it may look better on this badboy. Custom or not, at least it shows some idea of what we will be getting.

...uses fireball cannons that shoot bursts of 2000 degrees Fahrenheit blue flame 1.5 miles...

Assuming this isn't a custom, I'll definitely have to order one. Hate having to import stuff, but this looks too good to pass up. According to Hot Spot's G1 bio... ...so the colour of the missile is actually quite fitting.
Oh hell yeah. The protectobots were my first and only full combiner team as a kid! I'll be all over this! Got plans to custom all the remaining combiner "leader" figs with the limbs to follow as I hunt for suitable base figs.... Groove will be the hardest
Strictly speaking, if you are counting Classics and Henkei Inferno as individuals, you should do the same for Classics and United Grapple, there's a similar level of deco differences between the two. Which would make Hot Spot the seventh iteration of the mold.
- yup seven versions it is!
We don't, we've only got the press so far that says "Asia exclusive releases" from the panel where they were first revealed. They might see a wider release, but we won't know until it actually happens.
True, but we really don't have any reason to think they won't be Asia-exclusive. Hasbro NA hasn't exactly been bending over backwards to get product out here, even when they've got molds for it and everything (FE, Que and SW, etc). Relatively niche repaints doesn't sound like something they'd be up for, even though I would really love it.
