NEED this guy. Was at TRU today and was able to pick up Soundwave for $23, but I really hope Grimmy shows up soon. Been eagerly waiting ever since the first pics.

I was just at TRU tonight!
I used my 20% email on Soundwave, but I would have happily used it on Grimmy instead. Not to mention picking up a Blaster as well.

Same soft plastic Hasbro has been using, but his joints are tight and he holds together well. I kinda wished his shoulders pegged but it works okay. The light gimmick is much better than the Powerizer junk from RID.

I managed to pick up one from a friend here in Australia.... very nice toy and would almost fit into anyones classics collection... The one grip I do have is the sword and shield could of been a little bigger.

Also I really don't understand why you guys in the USA are complaining about prices....We pay $35-$50 for a Voyager class here in Australia depending on where you shop. TRU are the worst for pricing here...and since the Aussie dollar is above parity to the US dollar...we are getting royally screw over here.

The receipt says "markdown"... perhaps this was an error in the system at the store where it was purchased? Voyagers around here go for 29.99.

I don't think it has much to do with the price hikes as it does stagnant or falling wages and work hours. Combine that with rises in prices on just about everything and it all becomes problematic really fast.

We're already plenty screwed here, just in a lot more ways.

Both Grimlock and Blaster are an instant buy for me. The Blaster/Soundwave mold is pure win IMO and you have to get Grimlock!

I paid USD$30 for Grimlock in Hong Kong. I'd be shocked if the US model was 10 dollars cheaper. That's an amazing price and definitely a good reason to check out TRU on shipping days

Glad he's showing up at retail, but I have a feeling many fans are going to be horribly underwhelmed. This guy did NOT meet my expectations. Granted, I've had him for weeks through RK, so have had the luxury of time spent with him that many have not yet had, which means rose colored glasses will be in full effect for many who are just now getting him, but once that bedazzled sensation inevitably wears off I have a feeling collectors are going to chock this guy up as a big ol' meh.

I'm a fan of Grimlock but this looks like crap, maybe Takara can add some paint to this to get me to jump on.
