Jetwing didn't exactly sell out.....i wonder if it's just old Takara stock?

So, does anyone here still think Hasbro's SDCC Bruticus price is justified?

Retail sales aren't what Hasbro want. They look at us paying good money for third party, Takara items, and decide they want a piece of that too.

In their minds it's justification enough, and they're probably going to do more of it in future, til people vote with their wallets.

I would be all over the preorder, but I have finally decided that I just can't get into this Bruticus or a lot of the upcoming stuff. Course I bought a Takara Jetwing a couple months ago for $180ish. Ah well.

Edit: Since I have Jetwing, I am hoping for the other Takara Leader Class Optimus with the shield to be a Costco exclusive. Come on Costco.

I think its worth the SDCC asking price, but I did pre-order this Amazon just in case I can't score a SDCC set while I am there. Added Jetwing prime to my wishlist...I'd rather wait to see pics before jumping on that one. And even then its not on my priority list.

Threw down a pre-order on Bruticus. I want him for my G2-classics if nothing else. Might still get the mainline release for my WfC/FoC shelf, or the SDCC one if I somehow come into lots of money.

This works out to $12 for each figure for Bruticus. That's a steal, especially considering you also get free shipping and no tax (and no gas looking for them).

Cool, pre-ordered Bruticus. Price comes out to probably be cheaper than retail, no tax, free shipping and, if it turns out to be the wrong thing when pictures go up, I can cancel easily enough with no charge.

Got a Bruticus. While I've been lucky on SDCC exclusives before, I don't mind getting one of these just to be on the safe side. Or in addition. Nobody tell my wife it's just the same toy in different colors, k?

Last year, from what I remember, there was no preorder for Unicron (Amazon exclusive), what made them do pre orders this time around?....maybe to gauge interest since last year I remember Unicron selling fast...

well, hopefully, but being an exclusive means they might change the paint a little as they did with their other exclusive unicron, last year...either way, I dont have a jetwing yet and this comes in perfectly WITH the savings...I think Ill be asking too much if it came with chromed up jetpack, lol

I'm not too fond of the G2 color scheme but at $12 a figure this is great!

And I'm finally getting a buster cannon too!

They're shipping him to international's, much like how they shipped Unicron to international's last year.

Anyways, price is awesome and the shipping will probably be good. The only problem I have is I can't actually buy it, because my ATM card can't be used online, so I'm going to have to bribe my mum into getting it for me.

If worse come to worse i can't get the SDCC version,i will consider this Neon version

HMM, I still think I'd prefer the SDCC color scheme (though not the price) but that G2 Vortex calls to me.

I want the G2 Swindle. at 60 bucks i might go for it.

Looks like Christmas just came early for my son He's been asking for a combiner and with me watching FOC trailers these days, he's become quite fond of those designs, especially Bruticus.

Those prices do seem to cheap, but with Amazon.com's price guaranty we all better jump on this before prices change (if they do at all).

is he like 104$ if you pre-order it from some of the other toy stores? But 60$ from Amazon. Its a no brainer.

So is this the Bruticus version that will be released in stores as well just as single figures and not a gift set? Or is this a whole different version than besides the regular release?
