dude, thats cool. Do you know if there all out of stock or they can ship to the UK?
That sucks man. I never had to pay return postage back to amazon as they give you a printed postage label. I give them a ring or double check if thats a typo on there side.
Damn that is awesome. I gotta do that too now

I still have my childhood copy of the record (all scratched to hell) and I also found a UK version for a few dollars at a used record store a few years back.
So I already have two copies…no need for a third….but DAMN that blue vinyl is amazing!! Argh, I love blue vinyl. Oh well.
Years back I found these awesome picture frames at a crafts store that were sized for LPs…ten bucks a piece. I'm sure a quick search online would turn them up….that gorgeous 1986 artwork needs to be framed!!

The outside plastic cover has the sticker label that says Limited Edition Individually Coloured, the number is on the back of the record cover itself.

That's what I did and It looks great!

From what I gather, Europe may have gotten all or most of the blue ones. No way to be sure. Someone on eBay in the US has a Dutch listing for what they say is the blue copy, and they have more than 50 available for purchase. I don't know how they can all be blue without opening them.
You most likely got copy 1000 of 1000. Very nice. Where was yours numbered, on the packaging or on the vinyl itself?
Deruji
I think you needed to specially order the blue version, I remember there being a standard version that was cheaper than the blue one when I pre-ordered at the store.

I picked mine up on Monday in a German record store where I had pre-ordered. 25,90€, blue record and numbered exactly 1000, so I guess I got the last one^^

Look nice. I'd want one to hang on my wall
Mr. Ginrai
Yup, that's exactly what mine looks like. It's not your eyes – the artwork quality looks poor in person, as we both said.
The worst thing is I am processing my return and Amazon wants $4 to ship it back, and I'm a prime member. I've never had to pay for a return with them, ever.

Got mine in today shipped from amazon US all the way here in the UK with no probs. Spot on with the description Mr Ginrai. I thought it was my eyes that thought the cover was blurry
But sadly, I also got the standard black disk. Where did all the blue disks go to??? I am a bit surprised I didnt get the blue disks as the first news I heard about the vinyl's I pre-ordered the vinyl day one on amazon.
Heres mine:
Mr. Ginrai
Anyone?
Mr. Ginrai
I just got mine from Amazon. I pre-ordered November 17 direct through them with prime shipping. The pre-order dropped my price to $47.99.
However, I did NOT get the limited transparent blue disc. I got the standard black vinyl.
Anyone actually get a blue copy?
As far as presentation, it is standard paper sleeve over the vinyl inside. The outer sleeve with artwork is nice but I feel the graphics look washed out and blurry on the printing. I haven't seen the original copy in a long time so I don't have one to compare to.
That standard sleeve is then put in a clear vinyl sleeve for protection. It also had limited edition and deluxe edition labels on the clear sleeve.
There was little information on how to actually get one of the blue copies so I'm not too disappointed, but most likely this is getting returned.

Thanks for posting the link, I wanted to get one but thought the Amazon price was a little high.

I believe all of this first run of 1000 copies will be on blue wax.
Mr. Ginrai
How do we know if we got a blue version?
I pre-ordered from amazon and if I don't get a blue one, I will be returning it. I read an article on the internet that said the UK was expecting 250 blues ones, don't know about the US…
Is it really just a crapshoot, as in I ordered it and maybe I will get a blue one? When the news release originally went up I looked for a "blue" pre-order first and when I couldn't find one, I just made the PO at Amazon.

This is awesome. I'm not a vynil collector, but I wanted this since I was a kid. I have the original CD, but it's not the same thing. I'm from a time where the only thing you had to remember a movie by was the soundtrack.

A MASTER is the final mix down of a multi-track recording (drums on one track, bass on another, synths on another etc) tracks in this context being recorded parts of a song, not songs on an album.
REMASTERING: the engineers of said reissue go back to the original multi-track master tapes and use this for the release, as oppose to just making copies from the previous "masters". This is done for optimal clarity, equalization and stereo-sound mixing.
No, just CD.
